Carolina Fresh Water

I have a well and was referred to Carolina Fresh Water by a friend who recently had a system installed by them. When the person came to test my water he was very thorough but it did take longer than expected however, I wanted to make sure I received as much information as possible.

It was educational and I never felt pressured.I already knew my water was bad but I needed to be sure I was making the right decision and asked a lot of questions. He was very knowledgeable and helped me understand my choices. Since the system was installed I am amazed at the difference in my water.

The smells are gone and it tastes so much better. They have done everything they said they'd do and I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends

sales rep came to my home. I explained to him I had just lost my significant other unexpectedly and please do not take too long for the demo as I was still grieving.

He arrived at 6:00 pm and did not leave until after 10:00 pm. I knew I could not afford a $7,000 water system let alone pick up several bags of salt weighing 40 pounds each to dump into the tank (at that time I was 62 years old) but he continued to hound and pressure me. Even called his boss in front of me saying they can give me a good deal if I accepted the deal that same night. Also kept asking me how much money I made what my utilities cost monthly, etc.

I still have the paper he wrote down my expenses trying to figure out my budget. I kept telling him no but he would not leave. He knew I was weak and would give in. Did not even have time to look over the contract before it was delivered.

He said it would be delivered the next morning so I had to go in work late. Never tell you that you have to pay for service to be done on the system. Here I am now 67 years old trying to pick up 40 pound of salt and still have rings in the toilet bowl.

I am stronger now and will never invite a sales person into my home. Do not buy from this company..

So far my experience with Carolina freashwater has been good. The water taste great.

If I have questions or issues they answer them or have even sent someone out to check my system for no cost. If I have trouble with the monthly payment the stop the draft until I can resume payment. The products for the house you receive through the point system are all excellent except the cold water laundry prouducts.

We no longer have to spend money on all those expensive and heavy water bottles. Yay

We were asked personal questions about our work status and age, supposedly in order to participate in their "survey," which was a prerequisite for them to come out an do a free water sample.

We made an appointment for them to come out at a time when we 'both could be home' for the 'one hour consultation', which is what they require. The appointment was at 1:00; they called at 1:05 and cancelled it, saying that the technician was spending a lot of time at another location where the people had "bad water." They refused to come later that day, nor to send another technician, although we were available for the rest of that day.

Stay away from them! They were very rude to us in the above behavior.

They come to your house, perform experiments that may or may not mean anything, and use hard sales tactics to get you to buy. They will tell you anything you want to hear to make the sale, but the contract will not be adjusted to reflect it all. When something goes wrong, more fees. When you want the system uninstalled, guess who they say owns it? The finance company, who has literally nothing to do with the transaction at this point. They wont honor a word they say. Also, dont be fooled. This company is not affiliated w your local water company or any environmental agency. They are just shills out to make a buck, selling a system that should selk for around 2-3k for 9k.

And they havent responded ti my various other concerns either..

1. Their installation under my kitchen sink leaked

2. Their installation left my foundation open to rodents after the shed was moved

3. The uninstallation discharged saltwater into the yard, ruining the soil at a time when we are selling the house

Send cheap plastic sample kit for communities. Will contact respondents and rip them off

You buy this amazing water purification system. You are told all you have to do is add salt.

Anything goes wrong, just call, and they will come fix it. All maintenance is done by them. Lies.

They refuse to come out unless you pay monthly payments for them to do a check up on it ONCE a year. Not even when the system is flashing “call for service.” The phone rep said, “sometimes the salesmen exaggerate a little.” Do yourself a favor, DON’T BUY FROM THEM!

Yes I tried to call them at the office whoever took Angela's place our sales lady and John the guy who come out and Ihad us sign papers. The system is good however theyhave yet to install the uv bacteria light we purchased the guy who is supposed to come back with it the number he left we tried to call back and told wrong number that could be misunderstanding but we were going to back out and the salesperson and john both assured us that the reviews we read online were written by a competitor and ex employees who had been terminated for various reasons and so we went ahead with the deal.shame on us.we can't get anyone at the office to answer john hasn't returned my calls and some strange ladycalled my husband to say Angela was no longer there and so when we tried to call back to find out what to do about some things guess what read the reviews.

All of them are true.

Last month, I received a water testing kit in my mail. I sent it in and got a call a few days later.

He did come out to my house to do some more testing and they also told me they were with the city. When they showed up, I discovered they were with the city. The man that came in was very nice, his name is Mark and last started with K. He pressured me into spending $9000 on an overpriced water softener.

That was the biggest mistake I've ever made. I called the company the day after they installed it and told them I couldn't tell a difference in the water they told me to wait a week or two until It had the time to get everything out of my pipes. What they were really doing is making me wait until the three day cancellation period was over. I called back two weeks later and spoke to the sales manager, Scott.

He was very rude and told me it was nothing like you do, that the system is working and that I couldn't cancel now because the three day cancellation time had passed. When I told him I wasn't going to pay for it, he said that the finance company would run my credit.

This is been a horrible experience, the salesman lied to me, the company lied to me, and now I'm out $9000. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS
