The late night infomercials were very interesting. Carlton Sheets is a teacher ...when there have been no other teachers to help those of us interested in real estate.
He is probably my favorite guru.
There are people available to teach investors the skills required to make money in real estate. There are people who can teach us how to save and spend money wisely. Unfortunately, those people are not in the public school system.

Carlton Sheets - No Money Down Payment Course-Pure scam!!
I purchased the full program, and within the alloted time I returned it. However, I missed one of the cds (it was in my player) and when I sent the course back, I didn't get a reciept from the post office for the postage. As a result, CS company says that I didn't send it back and I owe them the full $249 for the course!!! They've turned it over to a collection agency, because I'm NOT paying for the *** thing, and now I'm getting calls, trying to get me to pay for something I don't have.
The so-called customer service people said they have no record of recieveing the box with all of the stuff in it----I'm screwed! You can't talk to anyone with any reason, they just keep telling me that I have to pay......,like *** I'm going to pay!

Wow, May 24th 2008 was my 50th birthday and I hit a big jackpot in the Casino that day ! I remember it well because my dad was with me for my last birthday of his life.
He died six months later. Back to the Carlton Sheets program. I purchased that program in 1997. My dad said it was a waste of money and that it just put another $ 180.00 in a millionares pocket.
That I was foolish, and unwise with my decision. I studied the course over and over. It motivated me to change my life. I owe a lot to Mr.
Sheets. I bought 29 rental properties with no money out of pocket and sold most of them last year. Now retired and ready to travel. It's not for everyone, and there is no free ride.
It takes a lot of courage and relentless downfalls to overcome.
I'm sorry you didn't give it a better try. Hope everything worked out for you.
Ask your attorney about this one. You may have to chalk it up to expensive lessons I learned in my life.
Back in 2004 I was with an "Escort" in Houston Texas. When she got up to go to the bathroom I was playing with her cell phone and I noticed she had Carlton's personal number amongst her contacts :p
the reason it is a waste is because it sits in your closet. if you would study it and apply the info you would find that it really does work.
Oh yes, bought that scam about 5 years ago and it sits in my closet. I should have tried to return it like you. What a waste of money!
