I ordered delivery through DoorDash and realized I made a mistake and ordered an entree containing tomatoes which my girlfriend is extremely allergic to. After realizing this I contacted the Carinos in Alamogordo to try to change my order. I was told that I needed to contact DooDash to update a simple order change for one pasta. I asked if it was possible to just change the pasta while paying the same amount or Id be happy to pay the difference. I was told by the Manager William to call back in 15 minutes (The order was projected to arrive shortly after that) and ask for him after talking to DoorDash because he was Too Busy. This was about 4 minutes after placing the order. I contacted DoorDash and they basically told me I couldnt do anything to change the entree, but I should I try call the restaurant back. I called back and requested Will the manager. I explained the issue to him and mentioned the Angel Hair w/ Artichoke was $28.95 (If he looked at my order at all he wouldve realized I was willing to overpay for the Shrimp Scampi which is $28.59. I heard him turn towards the kitchen to tell them to change the order to a Shrimp Scampi instead and got back on the phone to tell me that I needed to pay an extra $5 for the change. With that said, this action took him approximately 2 seconds to complete. I told him that I wasnt going to pay the fee because I was already paying over the price to change the order. He then told me that it was *** busy and that he wasnt going to deal with my *** right now. He said I was being rude over the phone when I made the most simple request which he fulfilled in a whopping 2 seconds after the second phone call.
I canceled my DoorDash order because Im not going to pay $90 for food that cant be eaten. Im not going to force my girlfriend to be taken to the emergency room because William is a bad manager. And based off the interaction, I dont think the food would be safe to eat either.
Now I have lost almost $90 for two entrees that cant be eaten because the Manager that works there cant manage his time, do his job correctly, or be civil with a customer service request over the phone.
As a military member serving here from Houston, I know what busy looks like. I too used to work in the food industry so I understand the hassle. But we live in Alamogordo, that restaurant can barely seat 100 people. Even at their slowest this restaurant gets orders out to a table hosting a whole party of 5 after a FULL hour of waiting. Ive served parties of 15 within 25 minutes of taking their order.
To be that rude over the phone and curse at me because of a request you dont want to fulfill as a manager is ridiculous.
Dude come on, I get that you may be in the weeds but its your job. I called the restaurant as soon as possible to save the headache of wasting food and time for both parties. Only to be met with whatever that was.
I refuse to let this issue go unresolved, so I am more than happy to talk to anyone about getting my money back. No I would not like a gift card and yes I do want my full refund as this couldve been resolved sooner. Ive never had such a bad experience in the middle of nowhere paying $30 per entree. I will not be dining at this over priced restaurant again.

Its Super Bowl Sunday. My father and I went to get lunch after church.
We sit down no waitress no waitress no waitress another waitress. That is not ours sees that were not being helped and comes and asked us what wed like to drink so finally our waitress shows up she asked for what we would like to drink if we want anything other than water and I asked for a vanilla Italian soda they were out of vanilla I said no big deal just get me water so then I said I and I would like the soup and salad and she said well that will have to be à la cart and I said well I get it here all the time I dont know what difference it would make today. Maybe they have been giving it to me à la cart all I know is thats what I order I pay for it and its always good, but my Point is the very first two interactions were negative out of her mouth so that doesnt set a good tone first you dont wait on us, and now youre being difficult and kind of angry, almost like she was angry before she got to the table to help us so I said no I just give me the soup and a glass of water and then my dad ordered a meal and a salad. My dad got his salad ate it, got his meal ate it.
I never got my soup. I never got any bread. nothing!
that waitress never came to check on us not one time then when I asked the manager to get my soup and bread to go, she seemed pissed. It was the absolute worst service in my 58 years of life I have ever had at any restaurant unbelievable, horrible and Ludacris !

On Friday, April 28 my spouse and I went to Carinos in Fairfield, California. We had a coupon for Buy one get one free.
We ordered the Lemon Rosemary Chicken meal but the chicken was burnt. We told the manager, Isabel and she took the chicken for a replacement instead of giving us a new meal because by the time we got the new chicken our other food was cold. We made that complaint but nothing was done for us! When we told the waitress about it, she suggested taking it to the microwave oven and heat it up for us.
On Saturday I made a call to the restaurant and spoke with Maria and she told me that I was liar and I just wanted some free food!!
Then she proceeded to hang up on me. Ive never been treated so rudely by managers before! I called her back and told her that I was not lying, that we just wanted our food to be right. I explained to her about the coupon that we had because she said that one of our meals was comped but that was not the case.
My wife made a review on Google and she received a response from Isabel, but it was not a sincere.
I spoke with Geronimo from your Texas restaurant and he was quite courteous and helpful.

I have never heard anything good about Carinos. One opened in my city and closed within 3 months.
