Monthly anxiety filled nightmare

Every month I have to call them multiple times to track where my controlled substance medication is and I never recieve it on time. The people who answer the phone dont know how the actual operations of products work and try to lie to you when you ask questions.

There isnt any operation procedure from the day they receive prescription to filling and shipping. Sometimes you'll have a script waiting over a week to be filled (even if eligible to fill), or once filled they mark it shipped in their system but it hasn't actually been shipped out and will sit for days or even weeks until shipped. Customer service is awful and I have only had 1 person who actually went above and beyond and did her job (because I called asking why my prescription has been showing shipped for over a week yet nothing had been received by usps).

Why cant they just fill when its time and send it out on time?? I have legitimate issues that require people to provide professionalism in their work yet no one really seems to know anything over there.

Would not deal with them again. Would rather deal with a local company.

My wife and I are still getting prescription requests from them even though I have told them we no longer do business and have even switched doctors. I was told my prescription was sent to Aridzona even though I live in Milwaukee.county.

Never had any problem before. Went to see the doctor on Nov 10.

Usually, the prescription arrives in 3 days. I ended up getting the prescription from another pharmacy. I was told Carelon RX shipped it to Arizona. I live in Wisconsin.

Their rude and pushy sales lady called a month later and again two days after that, demanding payment. I told them I always paid upon receipt of medication and would not pay for something not in hand. She said she was shipping it and told me I had to pay now.

I told her not to bother. She said she was sending it anyway; I told her not to bother and hung up.

Delayed presccription by one month and demand foir payment before we even receive it

They still call demanding payment. We had to go to a different pharmacy which had it ready that day which we paid for immediately.

Meanwhile a prescription that was given by doctors office on November 10th has still not arrived.. I don't pay for prescriptions til I have them in hand, They have called twice now demanding payment, we have not and will not pay it until we see our medication. According to one pharmacist it was sent to Aridzona and I live in Wisconsin. It has been going on for a month and it is now /December 10th.

I'm glad it is not a life threatening prescription We have always paid for prescriptions when they arrive, rude lady calls and says she is shipping it one month later, I told her don't bother.

She isn't backing down and still insists they are still sending it.It is still three more days now and we still have not seen it and a second call from pharmacy wanting paid. I told them we havent seen it yet.We have dropped this pharacy and swithed pharmacies and doctors as well.

After about 2 weeks dealing with this pharmacy, I cancelled my account for my mom and mother in law. They removed my contact name, email and the credit cards that were on file and they told me in spite of the fact that I just closed my 2 accounts and instructed them they are never to fill another prescription for either of these 2 accounts they informed me that "if" they get a prescription sent in by a dr., by law they have to fill it and mail it out (even though I closed my account and instructed them to never fill anything again) and when I asked who was gonna pay for it since they removed the credit card they said they'd probably bill me.

I just found out today, they solicited and scammed an old dr.

for the prescriptions they wanted to fill since they couldn't get them from the current drs. They should be sued!

If the doctor’s name on the prescription isn’t an associate of the regular doctor or wasn’t on call for the regular doctor, the prescription is illegal. Your regular doctor can confirm.

This is the second time. They have people working there from who knows where.

Eight hours on the phone with nothing but the Aladdin ***

Can you say nightmare? I retired, and unbeknownst to me, I was moved from Express Scripts to Carealon, or I should say Carealess.

I couldn't get my meds and called my doctor. They checked, told me that I had been moved to Carealess, and warned me about the service. I'm 64 and have NEVER seen a more *** up service. I have just over 8 hours on the phone, and I'm still waiting for meds and information as to access their website.

Our healthcare system is going to *** and Anthem doesn't seem to care or be very helpful in fixing this mess. Good luck if you get Carealess rammed up your backside.Hope you speak Aladdin if you do.

They done again, my doctor prescribed a medicine that needed pre-approved authorization and that was two days after they received the prescription, I kept checking on their web site about the progress, I kept seeing "need more info from your doctor, two days later I saw that it was cancelled , so I called customer service , spent 6 hours getting transfer to different "agents" three said that it wasn't approved , two said that it was approved and to called pharmacy deparment and talk with someone that I have to repeat what already had said , any way he had me on the phone for 1/2 an hour just to tell me that there's no record of being approved, this pharmacy is the worst , I wish I can change it but I' stuck for another year

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I filed a grievance against them and a supervisor called me said sorry and if I ever have any more problems to call her thanks

Anthem Insurance has Carelon RX as its pharmacy, with very bad customer service. Today, I called because I was not receiving my medicines as they had been 'in process' for over two months.

I had to deal with two agents because it was unbelievable.

Constant mistakes make it a nightmare. I don't know how Anthem can put up with this.

Yep I spend hours on the phone trying to get meds, now in need of chemo pills. While I was on the phone they called doc office said ok we got it again takes a little while to get in the system, so I waited 6 hours and called back now once again they see nothing, if I could post pics to show my phone time today I would I have 4 and a half hours and still nothing happened with it

Last order took ten days to arrive. We are less than 30 miles from where they shipped it.

Next time I ordered I got some screaming child and old McDonalds kids song in Background when transferred to associate. Finally got thru to order and got an email wanting my payment. Called them and had to give all my information to EACH PERSON I talked to. Finally got someone and told them I have a credit card on file with them.

He said there equipment was not working to use credit card on file.

He then hung up on me. CARELON IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.

The worst company I have ever dealt with!

The company strong arms me to use this pharmacy, and then they fail me each and every time with my orders, how is this right? And it's not so much the people that take the calls (they do share some responsibility though) but it's the managers and the policies that they have in place.

They have failed me three times on the same order that I've been waiting for now over a month for diabetic supplies, and that's just one order for me.

Every call I hear a recording that I'm being recorded for quality and training purposes. I'm gonna start recording to show this business how bad they're messing up, not that would fix anything As a consumer, I hate that I'm stuck with this pharmacy

My complaint is about Carelon RX who happens to be the Pharmacy Management Company for Anthem of Ohio. I have been trying & trying to get a prior authorization on a medication processed.

My doctors office has faxed the information requested along with a letter from the doctor regarding the need for this particular medication. Lo & behold, no one can locate the faxes, find the request for the prior authorization OR the Appeal & Grievance filed due to this incompetent service. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone ( twice now!) been transferred 8 times of more and still no one can even acknowledge that I have called at all. This is the WORST Pharmacy Management company I have EVER had the great displeasure of having to do business with.

Would I trust them to fill a prescription? NOT ON YOUR LIFE would I!! They deserve that F rating at the BBB. They are based out of New Jersey, and by the attitudes you get, you can tell its pure east coast rudeness and lack of help.

Go the extra mile?

Not Carelon, they cant even do the mile to start with. Avoid these people if you can, Im stuck with them thanks to Anthem and Miami University!

Delayed meds

I did not want to transfer my meds to Carelon Rx but apparently, it was cheaper and more convenient-at least according to the mail they sent me. So I transferred my meds to them.

It worked in the beginning. I'd get my prescription every 90 days after I signed up for auto refill. Then I don't know what happened this year. I did not get any notification so I checked my app.

I noticed my auto refill is gone but I still have 1 refill left. I went ahead and requested my refill. To my surprise, 3 days later, it hasn't been filled. So I chatted customer service and they told me my meds were no longer covered because they're not in the formulary anymore and I will need a new prior auth even if I still had 1 refill left from the old auth.

Well, that was new. No one informed me. No texts, email or mail. Otherwise, I would've gotten this taken care of a month ago.

I talked to my clinic and they submitted new prior auth. I didn't see any progress on the app and I chatted customer service again and they said the team hasn't seen the prior auth but now that they have, they'll mark it as urgent. Fast forward to today, they still haven't filled my meds and I was told to keep calling customer service. I've gone without meds for 1 month.

I have no choice but to keep calling customer service. I will find a way to ask for compensation about my inconvenience and let's see what they say.

They suck! Avoid Carelon Rx at all costs!

I call about an order and they tell me it's shipped out never receive my medication, no emails, my medicine was sent to the wrong address twice and it wasn't even the medication I ask for them to send and I can go on and on, I am done with your mail order, before this company I never had a problem , I had humana before this and my husband has united healthcare and we never ever had an issue, my doctor tells me they sent the last order on March 6th, never received it!

My medicine is supposed to be on automatic refills, it's not, I had to call too many times because I don't ever get my meds, I have had my medicine sent to the wrong address, they even sent the wrong mg , I call and have long conversations with a rep and it seemed like everything was straightened out, NOPE, I'M TIRED OF DEALING WITH THEM!! I can go on and on!
