I SIGNED UP 4-24-19. tHEY CHARGED MY mASTERCARD AS OF 04-01-19 IN THE AMOUNT OF $119.00

I CALLED AND CANCELLED MY PLAN WITH THEM ON 4--28-19. I SIGNED UP: 04-24-19, I EMAILED CHRISTIE the manager that signed me up to cancel-I have approximately 4 emails I sent her to cancel and confirm that she cancelled-as of today 05-06-19 she has not replied .

I am a Federal retiree and I will be signing up now during open season with them !! ANOTHER THING MY MASTERCARD WAS CHARGED $119.00 AS OF 04/01-April 1st and I signed up 04-24-19 ?? I WROTE THE ADMINISTRATER, SENT HIM MY CANCELLATION EMAILS THAT I HAD SENT TO CHRISTIE REGARDING MY CANCELLATION AND HIS MAIL TO ME HAD HIS EMAIL ADDRESS- MY EMAILS TO HIM WERE REJECTED--INCORRECT EMAIL ??? I DID NOT TYPE HIS EMAIL-HIS EMAIL HAD HIS EMAIL ADDRESS AND I JUST REPLIED TO HIM AT HIS EMAIL LISTED ??

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY !!! ANOTHER THING , WHEN I CALLED MY MASTERCARD REGARDING THE INCORRECT CHARGE AND ALSO THAT I HAD CANCELLED MY ENROLLMENT. kYLI, FROM MASTERCARD CALLED THEM AND SHE STAYED ON THE PHONE WITH ME WHILE I SPOKE TO THE DENTAL Representative : McKenzie. McKenzie told me I had to call in to cancel-no one ever told me I had to call in to cancel ??

CHRISTIE THAT SIGNED ME UP AND ALL THE EMAILS TO HER TO CANCEL MY ENROLLMENT NEVER TOLD ME I HAD TO CALL IN TO CANCEL - IN FACT CHRISTIE THAT SIGNED ME UP AND HAVE WRITTEN HER TO CANCEL MY ENROLLMENT NEVER MENTIONED I HAD TO CALL IN TO CANCEL. IN FACT CHRISTIE HAS YET TO CONFIRM SHE HAS CANCELLED MY ENROLLMENT PER MY INSTRUCTIONS !! I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND CONTACTING THEM !! while I was on the phone with their rep., McKenzie and my Mastercard rep., listening to my conversation with McKenzie, McKenzie she would cancel my enrollment, #134****, in the amount of $119.00--it would 4-5 days to apply to my Mastercard.

THIS HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE ORDEAL , TO SAY THE LEAST !!

MY MASTERCARD REP. KYLI MADE A NOTE ON MY ACCOUNT REGARDING THE CANCELLATION AND CREDIT TO BE GIVEN ON MY ACCOUNT !!

Buyer Beware - Careington Does Not Keep their End of Contract Yet Holds Cust. to Terms

On 8/6/2014, Careington International debited my bank account for $69.95. On 9/4/2014, I had an appointment with an In-Network Provider, listed on the Careington website. When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist called Careington to verify the program discounts. The agent informed her that they had no record of me. I had to call on my own cell phone and was told the same thing. After arguing with the agent about my membership for several minutes, reminding her several times that Careington had debited my bank account less than a month ago, she “found” my account. She then proceeded to tell me that the provider I had chosen was not “in-network,” when, in fact, it was. And despite the receptionist agreed they took Careington, the agent on the phone continued to deny my coverage. I then told her, “Fine, if you will not provide my discount, cancel my membership and refund the charges from my bank account.”

Apparently, my request was not honored because when I called the following week to verify cancellation, I was told that I was “past the 30-day refund policy.” This is wrong because when I had initially requested cancellation, my request was ignored.

I am currently disabled and really cannot afford to have money taken from my account for nothing. I find Careington’s actions (or inaction, whatever the case), to be breach of contract, hence, there is no contract to be upheld and my money should be refunded. I have repeatedly requested cancellation due to their non-performance, yet I am continually told I had 30 days in which to cancel, which I did, but they are ignoring the facts. I have not been allowed to take advantage of my discount benefits because of their on-going excuses & lies and should therefore be refunded the membership amount. They did not perform their end of the contract, hence, any contract between us is null and void and my money should be returned, otherwise, they have acted fraudulently.
