He seemed extremely pleasant on the phone, and when we got together for my appointment in his office, he was highly professional and ex extremely knowledgeable. Each step of the process went great, he worked with my finances, demonstrated to me exactly how my new document would look, and as promised, emailed me a question sheet that day so that I could give them additional highlights.

This was my second time using Career Pro Resumes. My first experience with Mr.

Gothard began in 2015 when I relocated from North Carolina to Georgia with no job. I spent a grueling six months applying for positions and working with multiple recruiters and going on NO interviews. I finally figured out my resume was the problem. I met up with Mr.

Gothard and he quickly revamped my old resume and I literally had 4 interviews in one week. About a month later I accepted a position as a Staff Accountant for a bank. I contacted Mr. Gothard in early March 2017 because I am now transitioning back to North Carolina and I had gotten an interview (still using the same format he provided me in 2015).

He updated my resume for me, gave me a fresh cover letter, and printed out new copies of the updated resume in the brochure style format. My interview was on March 8th and I presented all those documents to the three people who interviewed me and received compliments from everyone on the brochure style resume. Literally the next morning I received a call from the recruiter saying the company offered me the job! I am still in shock.

Not only am I now a Financial Analyst, I was offered $15K more annually than what I currently make, I am eligible for a 5% bonus AND the company is paying for my relocation. I know this wouldn’t have been possible without this resume highlighting my skills and abilities in a way that I couldn’t. To the people who are giving Mr. Gothard low ratings, it’s obvious you haven’t gotten one of his resumes.

He is direct and to the point, he works fast and he does a great job. And he definitely worked with my budget on a price I could afford (and I still wrote the amount off on my taxes). I would use him again. I am literally about to start a job I would have NEVER qualified for with my old resume.

Career Pro president Jody Gothard, who also goes by the name of Yaacov Gothard, charged me $1,550 for a resume, cover letters and "ongoing coaching" services in November 2016. He cashed my check immediately after our meeting and took a vacation to Louisiana.

I never met with him again. I received a half-finished resume full of typos delivered by his associate, Heidi Marsh, via email after several weeks of constant follow-up. The resume was never completed. The services were never delivered.

I've tried to recover my money without success. I would like to advise anyone seeking a resume service to avoid Career Pro at all costs (emphasis added).

Please, please, please, dont go to this guy called Jody, he is a complete disgrace and rip off specialist. He doesn't have time for you after he collects your money.

He will reproduce the same resume to you.

Don't let the ambience of his office fool you. He is a rip off

Jody Gothard is a money hungry *** artist.

I received my resume', but it was not easy. Jody N. Gothards "miss" handling of everything, except getting his payment, made it a month late on receiving it.

I was promised it July 6th,2015 when I dropped of the job June 29th 2015. Problems I see that made it late.

1. Emails are not responded to in a business time frame of 24/48 hrs.This means looking over drafts.

2. Word file of resume' not given as indicated on contract. Till I personal went unannounced to his office with a flash drive. He did not even email it to me. His excuse, made a mistake typing my email address.

3. My cover letter draft was never emailed to me , or a finished one! He put something together just before I came to office for pick up of finished resume' after I made mention I never saw it.

I encountered many excuses that made me always question his truthfulness to the issues of a conflict.
