Care A Lot Pet Supply

Ok, I am talking about the care a lot located in Kempsville RD in Virginia Beach. I supported this LFS from the day they opened because they are friendly and a has a little bit lower prices than other LFS i know.

but my demise started 1 week ago when I saw a spotted sweet lips in their display tank. I decided to bought because the lady told me that it is in great condition. I also asked if she can feed it a bit to see if it eats but she said no. but still i decided to bought it because of the "trust" factor I have on them.

I did the drip method acclimation with the fish and after 5 hours i put it in my tank together with my tangs and butterflies. the next day I saw it swimming belly up. I called care a lot and ask if I can return it. the first question that the guy on the other line asked if its dead already I said not yet but i would like to return it for another fish and he responded that they don't have a return policy for the fish.

I was like really? the receipt says " 10 DAYS RETURN POLICY ON THE ITEM WITH THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT" He told me that it was on the yellow paper they gave me when i paid for the fish on the counter. i was like " WTF?" all the LFS i went here in virginia beach has a return policy ... even PETCO has a return policy.

and even if you order online they even have 10-15 days return policy if your fish died! I tried to call the manager but no luck getting hold of him. So please, dont waste your money and avoid being a victim. dont buy fish from them...

go somewhere else where they have a return policy on what they sell. A return policy simply means that they take care of their fish and truly CARE-A-LOT about their costumer satisfaction!
