I made a deal on a canopy for our car wash in June of 2020. He said be delivering in 3 to 4 weeks, Never got it.Called and emailed him many times, and same ole excuse's.

He's injured or some other lame excuse. He's a fricken lying SOB. There has to be some way to go after him for this. Thinking about a debt collector.

He got us for $1,900. I can't believe I fell for this.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. ITS A FRAUD!

Jim hasn't delivered an order that I placed 20 months ago. Been fighting with him over the phone and text since then.

He won't refund my 1k. No product delivered. I am actually thinking about flying out to his place and punching him in the face. I have the address.

It's not far from me. Don't give him any money.

Stole money and never delivered the order. We are getting everyone together that has been screwed over by Jim and his company and we are filing criminal charges against him. This guy needs to be in jail

We purchased 2 canopy's from CWC, LLC on 05/11/2017 for 8488.00. We still have not gotten any of the products purchased.

They stated that if we paid entire bill we could deduct 4% off bill. And we did..... They said that they ran into some problems and that they would refund us our money. They started paying us back but still owe us over 8000.00.

I have tried contacting these people on serval occasions, and left message after message, but they do not return a phone call now. They are thieves. I really hope no one else falls for their hocus pocus. We still do not have a canopy at our site due to the funds being spent already.

Highway robbery. What comes around goes around.

I paid a down payment as Jim instructed. He always had some excuse why things where not working out for him.

Jim always has a sad story. Then all of a sudden the Canopies are done. 100% sure I will be installing next week. I paypal him the final amount.

Never saw him. More excuses. Car accident. Lost my lease.

Out of money. Luckily I remembered I paid with a credit card. Jim always needs money tomorrow.

I got back 1/2 my money thru the credit card company, but I am still out thousand. I would never do business with Jim Lewis, but if you decide to ALWAYS pay him with a credit card.

Jim Lewis has been in the business of screwing people out of money since 1980 . How he's still alive amazes me.

He has had several car stereo shops that went bust , he would *** people into investing in them and just took the money and got drunk and would act like he has money. he has nothing he lives in his Mothers' home where he grew up. Do not believe and or trust this guy with a nickel let alone a dollar. Jim has pulled the not answearing the phone trick since 1980 , nothing new.

His Mom is the one that had expierence in this line of work but she's in a care home or possibly dead by now.

Her name is Mildred Lewis and contacting her as crazy at it may sound possibly would do some good. Jim is 57 years old but acts like a 12 year old .

Jim Lewis owner ran a special three years ago on year end inventory. The prices were very appealing, so I gave him a very large order, Jim Lewis stated he would need the money in full before he could order materiAls so I had the money wire to his account on last day of the year.

Jim said we would have our order in 6-8 wks, he also stated to send all the diagrams and information to get my permits and ready for insulation.

Three years and still nothing. I called daily to ask of my order, never responded. I did reach him a few times and he would say he is waiting on a truck, never happened.

I sent numerious emails and mssages

Finially almost a year had passed when I decided to seek judgement which I have for $26,000.

We as Attorneys and courts in Tennessee sent correspondence with no one at his office were their to sign for.

I continued to try to reach him with many broken promises or no response at all.

I called several Attorneys in Kansas to file my claim there and every attorney knew of him, handling other desputes all of which said there was a line of dissatisfied customers where Jim Lewis had their money as well.

Finially Jim agreed to send part of my order if I would accept what he had made. I agreed to settle for other colors just to redeem some of my investment. Jim said he just got a large account which will help him to make everything right.

Jim wanted me to drop my judgement and complaint I told him that I would as soon as we received our refund or products.

He agreed, I received part of. My order he said the remainder will come in 6-8 weeks we send all info and he sounded like we would finially get our products.

Again he had so many reasons to why he was not completing our order.

Now going into three years of our money being tied up and no product we reached him and his whole attitude had changed.

He was very mad and said because of making my complaint public he would not send our order and would see us in court and hung up.

I have my judgement and looks like I will be traveling to Kansas to take him to court.

So BEWARE of giving Carwash Canopies or Jim Lewis and money before you receive your product if you decide to still do business with Jim Lewis

I purchased a canopy from jim Lewis in 2013. It took me 6 months to get my canopy and only after my credit card company (Capital One) got my money back .

It was only then that Jim Lewis was motivated to send my Canopy. I wired him the money once the canopy was delivered.

Fast forward one year later (2014). Jim Lewis called me and offered me a deal on another canopy for my other car wash. Why I ever trusted him, I'll never know, but I sent him $5,000 for the canopy and here it is now one year later and no canopy.

Just like all the other customers who were ripped off, I would call him and he would have so many excuses as to why the canopy is not being shipped. He wore me down to the point that I had to get an attorney involved. I still don't have my money.

Do Not Deal with this THIEF. I can't believe that he's not in jail for "theft by deception".

Back in 2008 Jim Lewis ordered some raw materials from my company to build his car was canopies. The payment was supposed to be given to the delivery driver but for some reason the shipment got left without collecting payment.

Jim dodged my calls and tried to rip me off but I stay persistent & finally got paid. I just ran across the other negative "pissed off" customer reviews & thought it would be important for me to leave my review also.

Jim is a bad apple & obviously doesn't appreciate his business or customers. Stay away from this bozo.

Ordered 3 awnings for my car wash seven months ago and paid for them the next day. I still don't have my awnings.

Jim Lewis has told me many times they are shipping next week bu they never do. I have even told him to send me pictures of the products and he does not. I feel he has not made them and has just taken my money and ran.

He said if I send him the money next day air that they would be made and shipped in less than 6 weeks. It sounds like he has done the same thing to other customers.

I spoke to Jim Lewis in March of 2013 after I seen some. Operators canopies I ordered some.

6 weeks delivery he said I paid for the canopies in April 2013. It is now aril 2014 and guess what I still do not have a completed order. I did recieve some canopies 2 teller canopies and 3 double vac canopies. All 3 double canopies were damaged.

1 was taken to his shop to repair got it Bach 4 months later. He refused to fix the others and told me to file a complaint with the truckers. Can't do did not send a. I'll of lading no proof of delivery.

In this 1 year process he has blocked my phone and will not recieve my calls. On the numerous phone calls prior. He yells cusses and blames me for the delay. He has had plenty of opportunities to make it right but refuses too.

So I sit and wait for the remaining product. Also the competitor I spoke of. Also missing paid for canopies over 2 years now in the the process one of the owners has passed away. What a human being this guy is.

All I can say is run far away from this guy. What a crook.

Jim Lewis Owner in Wichita Kansas who we had used before sent an email offering a discount if ordered before Jan. 1, 2013, we gave him a $14,850 order and he explained that the money would need to go to his account to save.

We wired on Dec. 31, 2012 he said 6 wks or less to receive products.

After he became unavailable and the few times we reached him he used excuses to why not shipped. After many threats in Feb.

2014 he sent $7,000 worth of product and refuses to respond on refund. We have gone to court here in Tenn.

and have a $25,000 judgement and now must retain an Attorney in Witchta to take judgement to their court for collection. The Attorneys their are very familiar with Car Wash Canopies and Jim Lewis because others are trying to collect with no luck.

ordered 5 canopies, all 10 support poles arrived damaged. Immediately contacted owner,Jim Lewis,but he refuses to repair or replace these damaged poles.

All poles were thrown together in crate unprotected and rubbed and gouged each other on trip from Kansas to Illinois. Mr. Lewis offers no reason why he won't replace or repair, and now won't answer calls or mail. Paid $7,500.00 for a new product, but now have been stuck with ugly product.

STAY AWAY FROM CARWASH CANOPIES LLC IN WICHITA KANSAS. I had attorney send pictures of these poles to MR.

Lewis and his response was he will get his own attorney. This is not how a professional business man should run his business!
