Charges before renting a car

I booked a car rental thru this company and was informed i could use my debit card, but when i contacted the actual car rental agency, they informed me that they only accepted debit cards. Car rental express charged my debit card already, and when attempting to call them, customer service goes to voicemail and sales goes to voicemail.

So youre not able to actually reach anyone by phone.

Horrible experience!!! Do not rent with them, they seem like theyre the company handling your rental, then you discover that theyre just an advertising agency after your card is charged and youre given false information about the actual agency youre renting from.

If you are going to travel and not have a credit card, you need to be booking directly with the branch you are renting the car from.
