Jura Capresso Iced Tea Maker

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We bought this ice tea maker from Bed Bath and Beyond but when a piece snapped out of the pitcher during making the tea, the company blew us off. Thank heaven for BB&B who said they would stand behind it.

I hope they throw this company out of their stores. The pitcher looked good but when you put ice in it then hot water on top, sooner or later it is bound to have issues. I even put the ice in a ziplock bag and put it in the pitcher so it didn't drop in so hard but even that did not prevent it from breaking.

Not shattered, as if I hit it, just a piece of glass popped out. Definitely a manufacturing defect

I bought a Capresso 5-cup programmable mini-drip coffee maker at target.com on Sunday, December 5, 2021. I was the only person using this machine following all the manufacturer's instructions for using, maintaining and cleaning this machine.

Toward the end of November 2022, this machine stopped working. I filled the water tank with 4 cups of water as usual with the proper amount of coffee one morning, pressed the one button to no avail as nothing happened. The machine would not operate. The water was just stuck in this faulty machine.

Customer Service is a joke. The rude male capresso.com phone rep I spoke with told me even though this machine malfunction was not by fault, and it was still under the one-year warranty that I would have to pay for the shipping, etc. to return this product. I told him I am a retired senior citizen lady and did nothing wrong to cause this product malfunction and sense this product is still under warranty that it made no sense to charge me to return this product sense it would exceed the price I paid for the product.

I requested to speak to*** supervisor, but the rude male phone rep stated he could not connect be and that his supervisor would call me back. The capresso.com supervisor called me back AFTER the warranty expiration date leaving me a voice mail. I was so angry and disgusted with this company by that time that I did not return that call to that capresso.com supervisor.

I just cut the wire plug and trashed this horrible product. I will never again do business with capresso.com with their horrible rude customer service and warranty that is a complete joke.

Capresso Coffee Maker

Capresso sold us a model 303 refurbished unit for about $45.00. It broke recently, and when we requested a warranty claim, they said we'd have to ship the unit to them in NJ.

Now we're close, so I asked to drop it off there. Nope, gotta send it in. It'll cost at least $15, maybe $20 to ship, and it requires a fairly large carton which has to be strong enough and padded enough. For a $45 machine?

I don't think so. This warranty stinks!

Customer service could care less when I told them I won't be back! They're perfectly happy to see me go to another product!!!
