Transmission out in less than 1 year

I will never buy another Kia. I have a 2009 Kia sorento and it needs a new transmission with less than 12,000 miles. Kia doesn't not want to cover any rental costs or supply me with a loaner car. They just want to replace the transmission and send me on my way. I believe this vehicle was sold to me as a lemon. There's no way the transmission should be out, I drove off the lot with less than 20 miles. Does anyone have any legal suggestions they can offer? I feel I should get a new vehicle, my vehicle will never run the same.

Kia Service Robbery

A few months back I took my Kia van to get the 60,000 mile checkup. Capitol's service crew charged me $900.00 to change the timing belt, tune the engine, all fluids etc. A week ago, my timing belt went out, stranding my wife on the road in South Texas. Going to a better Kia dealership, it was noted that the belt was never changed and that the electronic receipt indicates no part numbers that were "included" in the service deal. I specifically asked whether the services were rendered at the time, only to be assured that they were. The new Kia dealership saw the receipt and teh service guy exclaimed - "Well, it looks like you paid a lot for nothing" I am amazed that Kia cannot do something to rectify the situation. Bunch of thieves!

Kia con men

We recently purchased a used car from Capital Kia motors at Anderson mill and # 183 and gave 500.00 $ down then they went back on the deal called us in to sign more papers as they said and said the bank wihich is the same bank we are paying our other car through ,never been late on a payment so we were shocked when they decided not to carry the deal through well we gave the Keys back but they refuse to give us our 500.00 down payment back. this I cannot tolerate.
