WE FINALLY COME TO AN AGREEMENT AND HE TELLS ME THAT THEY WILL GET THE TRUCK DONE AND DELIVER TO ME THAT AFTERNOON OR EVE. WELL I KNEW THE TRUCK SHOP THEY WERE TAKING IT TO AND WENT OVER THERE TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. BOTTOM LINE THE OUTSIDE TRUCK REPAIR CENTER THEY WERE TAKING IT TO WERE CLOSING UP AND GETTING READY TO LOCK MY TRUCK INSIDE FOR THE NIGHT, WHICH OF COURSE MENT I WAS NOT GETTING IT BACK THAT EVE AS THE SERVICE DIRECTOR HAD LIED AGAIN TO ME ABOUT.
SO I DEMANDED MY TRUCK AND LEFT WITH IT WITHOUT ANY REPAIRS DONE TO IT AT ALL.
BOTTOM LINE: THEY WILL SAY ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO BRING YOUR TRUCK IN AND THEN BLAME YOU WHEN THEY CANNOT FOLLOW THROUGH.

My parking brake locked on my Ford. I had it toed to Capistrono Ford as it was the nearest dealer.
They said I needed to replace the entire system for over $500.
I just had new brakes put on the car four months ago! They're crooks!
I talked to a friend who does brakes. All they are going to do is remove the cable clip on the rear brakes, Pull with cable end and rotate it and push down on the lever until it releases. Its a common Ford problem and they are trying gold dig people. I don't mind paying a mechanic an hours labor for 5 minutes work, but I'm not buying parts they are not going to install!

I took my car in to Capistrano Ford for same problem twice and now the service department has been giving me the run around as usual. Once again the car has been in the shop for over a week with not indications as to when it will be ready.
I have purchased 5 cars in the past and will not purchase another ford due to the customer service delays in the service department.
In the past 1 year my car has been in the service department a total of over 4 weeks and the customer service department as well as the service manager have left me stranded with absolutely no clue as to when I an expect to pick up my car.
