Returned machine yet still getting billed

We upgraded and leased another machine. They continued to bill old machine even though we had numerous emails from sales saying it was picked up.

They keep saying they cannot locate it even though we had a bill of lading that said where it had been delivered. Not only do they keep billing but add significant late fees and it is affecting our small business credit. They keep saying it's all set, yet we keep getting billed. We have sent constant emails and have had several phone calls and they keep saying they are escalating.

This has been going on since Feb 2023. They charged $3400 for a lease that was $110 a month. They said this was for the month of February with late fees.

We paid just to have it go away, but to avail, this nightmare continues. STAY AWAY FROM CANON!

Canon Financial Services - Billing Practices and Compounded Late Fees

It is unbelievable to me that a company for that you have a long-standing lease agreement would charge compounded late fees for a past-due invoice.

I would recommend anyone, especially a small business, who is considering leasing equipment from this company to know that they charge compounded late fees. This practice should be illegal. So do your research and consider another company!

Preferred solution: They should change the practice of compounded late fees or make sure companies understand especially small businesses who I would imagine are a significant client base.

Erroneous Invoicing and Collection Harassment

Had copier leases with Canon Business Solutions which ended at term. Copiers were returned.

Purchased outright new copiers. However, we have been constantly harassed by Canon Financial Services for outstanding invoices after the leased equipment was returned and leases have ended.

All payments were made on time and there is nothing outstanding. Crystal at Canon was rude and refuses to give her full name and manager's name

Preferred solution: Canon Business Solutions must communicate with Canon Financial Services to avoid future issues. I would also like to see Crystal terminated from Canon Financial Services for her rudeness and refusal to give her manager's name.

User's recommendation: Don't use Canon Business Solutions for anything!

Billing Problems

Cannon Financial Service sends inaccurate invoices. If you are a customer you need to call customer services and demand they include all information concerning amounts due on your account on each invoice.

They will omit information to create an underpayment and then charge you a late fee. Do not trust them.

GROSS Negligence!

To say working with Canon has been an upsetting experience would be an understatement. To have to jump through hoops for YEARS to get a unit back to you for your company to "lose" it and put it on us is outrageous.

FedEx had confirmed delivery and signature, but that wasn't good enough. We needed something that FedEx could not provide, interesting right? My old office manager had to call me after 2 years out of desperation and begged for my help. I ended up calling Ross Intl where she sent the unit and after providing the model and serial #'s (from the invoice) he found the unit WITHIN AN HOUR!

How is it possible this was NEVER done by Canon to see if the unit was in fact lost? I was so appalled. The gross negligence of the "account manager" and Canon overall is enough to never have me work with this company again. And the best part?

Our acct manager comes back and says she realized the model # on our lease agreement was wrong this entire time. Wow. What a joke.

Do your due diligence Canon. It's clearly not that hard.

We are having the same issue, who did you contact to resolve your issue? They keep saying they can't find the machine even though we have a copy of the company who delivered it and told them where it was.

Canon lease scam

Canon never told the real retail price of the machines I leased from them

The inflated the price and scammed me for many years

Canon Financial Services - Don't enter into lease agreement with Canon

We have leased business printers with Canon for 20 years. We have never needed a service call, and finally wised up and bought our own printer (will pay for itself in 6 months).

Canon, who has milked us for all these years has suddenly turned aggressively rude and unhelpful. We notified Canon a month before end of lease that we were not renewing.

After lease ended, we contacted to ask when printer would be picked up (in past, with new contracts, a local Canon office came and picked up old printer). Was told that I should have read the fine print of the contract...needed to notify a different division of Canon...in writing....three months before end of contract, so now will be required to pay three months rental on printer we aren't using, AND need to ship printer back to them at our expense with a long list of shipping requirements.
