Cannon Legal Group - Dishonest/Unprofessional

This attorney refused to release my file and acted like a criminal. He kept sucking more money, lied, and did almost nothing on my case.

He never returned calls or replied emails. He always missed the court date. Please check with CA state bar before hiring him. He has already been complainted by many clients.

I hired him to represen me for my family matter. I am very disappointed with his work and unprofessionalism. He did not complete his work as agreed, but demanded additional payments. I finally gave up with his dishonesty, asked to have my file back.

He insisted not to return it to me unless I paid him for some additional money for the work claimed as extra. I asked for a proof of work, but he never provided!

Cannon Legal Group - Attorney Review from Newark, New Jersey

William Watkins from Cannon Legal group acts very similar to the reviews that I am reading on here. He fails to call back, email and file motions.

Even after I informed him that I wanted to terminate our relationship, it took him multiple efforts to send me all the documents.

Remember people, you get what you pay for. Learn from my mistake and do some good research, pay for a reputable attorney and stay away from charlatans like the ones working for this firm.

Completely Rude

I contacted this company for assistance with advice on a divorce matter. While it appeared that they initially had a good (meaning cheap) cost model compared to other attorneys, do be aware.

You apparently get what you pay for. The contract they attempted to get me to sign was not in line with their verbal promises. Further, when I questioned them on it the owner immediately blew up and became inflammatory on the phone. He then threatened to sue me for "wasting him time".

I attempted to smooth things over with them but simply found the owner to be irrational.

What a piece of work. Be ware!!!!

Cannon Legal Group of Pasadena Is a Joke!

This law firm is an absolute joke. Jamual Cannon is the worst lawyer I have ever seen. This guy has put and me and my family through H**. He was suppose to file several motions and he did not. Cannon Legal Group charged me for things that I did not ask for. I requested several things for them to do on my case and he did Not do them even though I was paying him. Jamual Cannon is always late for trial, and he is very unprofessional.

If you hire him you will lose your case, and waste your money!

I would NOT recommend Cannon Legal Group of Pasadena Ca.

Avoid them like the Plague!

Sorry I have to call bs on that one. First of all, there's almost no package at Cannon Legal Group that even COSTS $5,000.

Jamaul went to flat fees over a year ago. All i know is they kicked *** on my divorce.

I went from thinking I was going to get screwed over (which my first lawyer probably did) to feeling like I was the one doing the screwing to my ex-wife and her annoying attorney. Bottom line is I couldn't have been more pleased and I referred Jamaul to my brother for his divorce as well.
