Catastrophic downrigger failure
I have several mag 10 downriggers and recently had the rod holder break off with a chinook salmon strike. The break point clearly shows large air bubbles in the interior molding by the rod holder mount.
Not only am I out a downrigger buy also lost a 6
$600 off shore rod and reel. I am not a rich man and cannot afford 1200 dollar losses due to poor manufacturing quality.
I would like to send you photos of the break area so I may be compensated for my losses.

I bought 2 new downriggers, used them twice and now they won't even reel up the ball
Fishing at a depth of 100 ft, worked great the day before and then the next day both had the same issue and would not hold the ball weight or reel up.
