Change in trustworthiness with new ownership.

Needing a refill, contacted company. Where there had previously been no problem with price matching, now there were incomprehensible excuses and repeated delays over days designed to pressure me into paying company's price.

Representatives would report different prices than what I was seeing and would have to check and call me back only to reject the competitor's price so we'd have to start over only to have the same runaround again Scary to be manipulated based on a need for medication. After several years with company, switched to another which gave me the much lower price, which was fifty percent less.

Cannot obtain insulin anymore

Not a happy camper. For years, we have ordered humalog from Canada Medicine Shop, with no problems whatsoever.

We felt fortunate to find it online bc we don't have insurance (costs $750/month for a family of three), so paying $258 for 6 vials was fantastic! Finding it here in the US is easy enough but the consumer gets raked over the coals regarding price: online it was $43/vial, in-store it was $89 (!!!!!). NOW, "humalog" has become a dirty word: can't find it with CMS and they evade questions. Almost impossible to find ANYWHERE online.

When i have been lucky enough to find it, it's astronomically priced! $206/vial or higher!! It's as though suddenly someone got wind of folks ordering from overseas and somehow put a stop to it. If it's the U.S., they have PLENTY of more worth-while things to be concerned with, nevermind folks ordering their insulin from cheaper places.

Rather than simply LOWER the prices here, they RAISED them online. Dirty, dirty pool. Someone somewhere is more upset with not getting kickbacks (apparently) than the health of diabetics nationwide. Disgusting.

Who in the world would have the power to force Canadian sites to up their prices? Does anyone know what's up?

CANADA MEDICINE SHOP SCAM

I PLACED AN ORDER WITH THIS FIRM ON 10/13/2012. I RECIEVED AN EMAIL THAT THEY RECIEVED MY ORDER AND THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD.

I ENQUIRED ON 11/02 2012 AND THEY SAID THAT THE WEATHER HAD DELAYED MY ORDER. THEY SAID I SHOULD ENQUIRE AGAIN ON 11/13/2012. THEY SAID MY ORDER HAD BEEN DELAYED BY HURICANE SANDY WHICH WAS 8 OR 9 DAYS AFTER THEY SAID MY ORDER WAS SHIPPED 11/16/2012.

THIS IS NOT THE SERVICE I EXPECTED FROM THIS COMPANY. I INTEND TO HARASS THEM EVERY DAY UNTILL MY (1) MY MEDS ARRIVE OR (2) THEY REFUND MY MONEY.

Charged my credit card. Have no meds. Been 30 days.

I have been doing business with CanadaMedicineShop.com for many years but this current transaction has been a NIGHTMARE. My order number is: 197****. You processed my credit card on 12/22/2010. As of 1/21/2011 I still have not received my pills. When the order was placed I told the order taker that last year when I placed the same order it was delayed due to winter storms. I asked for this order to be noted "as soon as possible" and she said I would get it on time. 8 to 12 business days as stated in your Disclosure Document.

I spoke with a supervisor named Batul on 1/12 and she told me US Customs was checking all packages and that was causing the delay. She promised to place a tracer on the package and would call me in 2 to 3 days. She said I should have the product by no later than 1/18. She never called. When I called back asking for her she was not available and I was told that SHIPPING never placed the tracer. I asked when Canada Meds knew about the problem with customs and the girl ( Dana?)told me it started in November. Had I been told customs was a problem and I might not get the pills in 12 business days I WOULD NOT HAVE PLACED THE ORDER. Today 1/19 I spoke to supervisor Batul. She was making excuses and lying to me about: Not calling me back about the Trace. Not telling me about US Customs when I placed my order. Telling me now about weather conditions. For every question and concern I asked her she responded with excuses and apologies but no truthful answers. One excuse after another. Offering me a refund on 1/25. Not a nice person.

My intentions are to let EVERYONE know what a dishonest business Canadamedicineshop is.

I will wait for your response.

Respectfully,

S.Nankin

CanadaMedicineShop should be reported to the Department of Consumer Protection-federal and state, national and state boards of pharmacy, FDA, and DEA. Any US pharmacy would be under investigation for the errors committed by CMS and since they require a legally dispensed prescription they are legally bound to the same authorities as US pharmacies.

They are a business with particular legal obligations and they are not meeting those obligations. CMS is making a profit which is fine, but dangerous, illegal conduct has consequences.

Very similar situation with me. The original order was placed 01/2011, one med arrived in a reasonable period of time, the other went beyond the max "ship time."

In response to my queries CMS said I had "entered my address wrong", that "I wan't home so the delivery was returned", that "the company had the wrong tracking number", etc. etc.

Clearly CMS was lying from the get-go and had no intention of rectifying their dishonest practice--taking the money, not ensuring the med was sent.

They may be a clearinghouse for different companies, but CMS must take direct responsibility for the med they accept money for. Any local retail pharmacy would be in violation of numerous laws, and I intend to submit claims against CMS through the DEA, customs, etc. I'm not complaining about a pair of shoes, but about a prescribed med.

Same here. Ordered in December, still waiting on Feb 10th.

I have called several times and was finally told tonight to wait until 31 days after the original shipping date (mid Jan, despite the Dec order) and they would cancel and reship. Why on earth do they think that's ok?

At this rate I will likely not get the medication until mid March, from a December order. They know they are shipping medication that has to be taken daily, they take your prescription, but have no back up plan or even useful suggestion when they fail to fulfill your order.
