I purchased Order Reference: QFWGQXHCH id:355**** (SONL0355****) on 12/09/2024. On Tuesday, Dec.
11th, I received an email stating that I would receive the item between 12:30 and 4:30 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 12th. That did not happen. The UPS tracking, as of right now (Dec.
12 at 11 am), says that UPS had not even received the package from CC, and when they do, they'll be able to show a delivery time. As of writing this, I have been waiting on the phone for 58 minutes while a recorded voice constantly tells me that my call is very important. Obviously, that is not true. I am beginning to believe the reviews I have been reading about CC's online ordering and I will never attempt it again once this fiasco is resolved.
Oh, by the way, your voice CSR service just said the call could not be answered and went to messaging, which is a sad joke because it just hung up AFTER WAITING FOR ALMOST AN HOUR OF MY TIME. GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE OR DON'T OFFER ONLINE ORDERING OR PRETEND TO WANT MY BUSINESS.

- - Jan 5: opened-box PC board bought in Richmond Hill; it failed.
- - Jan 7: returned monitor; 15% restocking; refund based on the new price.
On January 05, I bought a PC video board at Canada Computers in Richmond Hill. This is the one I had chosen for a special project and also their last one in a opened box, as it was returned by another customer. I had asked them if there would be anything wrong with the board, their answer was NO.
I took the board home and tried on my system, it failed on all the four basic tests.The next day, Jan 06, I printed the results out to show them and was able to return the board not without a heated argument.
Then I went to another Canada Computers in North York to buy a video board and a Samsung 24" monitor($230.00), in sealed boxes.
During my tests, the monitor did not have the expected performance. Then when I wanted to return the monitor today Jan 07 for a better one and agreed a 15% re-stocking fee. When calculating the refund, they applied the today (Jan 07) new price of $200.00 minus 15% or $170.00 instead of $230.00 minus 15% or $195.50.
I had been their customer for at least 5 years, and as of today not any more.
Be careful if you have to deal with this Chinese chain of stores.
