Verified Reviewer |Very disappointed and tired of being harassed
- Raheem called about the Camry; only 2019.
- Promised bumper repair on 2019; no fix.
- Upsell to a 2022 for extra 3–5k; I refused.
The first call I received was from Raheem who is a sales person at the dealership, he called me Feb. 20th at 5:23 asking me if I was still interested in the new Toyota Camry.
I explained to him the reason I came into the dealership was to buy a new Toyota Camry but all the dealership had was the 2019. I was shown the only one that was available. I told him the Sales person Andrew told me if I purchase this 2019 Camry that day, he would make sure the damage that was on the bumper would be taken care of . I went on to explain they didn't take care of the damage nor would they return my calls or emails.
I told I was sending in a complaint on the dealership and their unprofessional behavior. He asked me how long have I had the vehicle, I told him a month. He then told me he would speak with his manager to see if they could swop out for the 2022 due to how I have been treated by the dealership. Since then I was called by Andre the Accessories Manager and he apologize and asked me to bring the vehicle in to replace the bumper.
The next day Raheem called me and asked me to stop by that morning before going into work and speak with him when I bring in the vehicle. He gave me his cell number and asked me to call him. I call his voice mail was full He called me later that day and asked me to come back by that evening. Once coming back that evening he attempted to up sale me the 2022 Camry.
He kept telling me it is nothing for me to pay an extra 3-5 thousand dollars to have a new vehicle. I advised him that was not what we discussed and I have no intentions on spending any more money with this dealership. He was very persistent, and wouldn't stop with how me paying a few thousand dollars more is worth it. He had me there over a hour and a half going on and on how I need to go ahead and pay the money to get what I originally came to the dealership for.
As I was leaving he then told me his manager wanted to talk with me, I told him if we are not swooping vehicles as he promised in our first conversation, I am going home and I told him I was upset with him for getting back down there under false pretense. It didn't seem to matter to him that I have already submitted a complaint on the dealership for not following up on their promise. Since then he has called me twice on Wednesday, Feb. 23rd again Thursday, Feb.
24th and the last time Friday, Feb.
25th. This is harassment and I told him so, if he is not swooping out this vehicle to not call me again and I promise to never do business again with Toyota.

Verified Reviewer |I am being harassed by the sales personnel to trade in my vehicle instead of them just changing out my vehicle for the new vehicle I originally went there to buy.

- They promised bumper repair or a 2022 swap; harassment and unanswered calls continued.

I am still getting calls weekly from this dealership. The harassment is horrible.

Frustrated at Misinformation
- Sales claimed Ohio registration would be handled.
- Staff gave conflicting information.
- Temp tag expires before registration completes.
When I was in the dealership in Phoenix, AZ. I was told by the salesperson that the vehicle will be registered to Ohio, no problem.
All I'll need to do is take it in and get my plates done, they're handling it all. Get home, talk to various people with the company. All of which told me different things or didn't know anything at all.
Was talking to someone in the company and they told me they'll call me and let me know what's going on, didn't hear from them.
Finally, I was told that they don't do registration at the store. After being told for a month by various people in the company that they do.
My temp tag expires in 2 weeks and finally found out what I need to do, but the process takes a month and I'll have expired plates for 2 weeks. Would be great to know the actual facts before buying a vehicle instead of playing guessing games and finding out you weren't told the truth when purchasing a vehicle. I get these things to happen but if I had known ahead of time what I needed to do, I wouldn't have to worry about my plates expiring before I can get plates.
And if I knew it was 100% my own financial burden to get it registered, I probably wouldn't have bought the vehicle. The other dealerships I've dealt with handled the registration and I was told this was the same way.
User's recommendation: Be careful buying a car if you are out of state.
