Poor hotel service

I caught the hotel manager making fun of my artistic sons sneakers. I asked him about it and he lied. The next day the manager took 100 dollars out of my account after over 10 hours of stay. The front desk said it was in cased I ordered something when it was actually and only told me it was for damages after I asked him several times. I asked the front desk for hotel policy and they said they could not provide me with the a copy of the policy because they don't have it written down anywhere nor could he pull the policy from the computer. I politely asked for the policy several times. The manager said that I was being combative after my disbelief of not having a copy of the hotel policy. He said this is the second "happening".Between yesterday and today. He then lied and said once I swipe my card it shows the policy which does not say anything about holding money in case of damages or perches of anything in the lobby. The manager who made fun of Mt sons sneakers laughed with one other female coworker and even mock him by swispering in althea females coworker ear. The coworker looked at my son sneakers and started laughing right in front of our face. They were both behind the counter looking at us as we walked by. The manager was stopping his feet as to say look how big his shoes are while the other coworker laughed. I asked him about it he said I was mistaken. I knew he was lying so but I still let it go. It was only after I asked what the money was being held for and being lied to about it and the managers hostility. I didn't observe the Manger geek anyone else in this manner. I'm sure it can be revised on cctv. I use to live in newhaven and every now and again I come here to visit my sons for spring break. I've been too several different hotels downtown newhaven. Nothing like this as ever happened. No one has ever held my money. If they held it the day I checked in I don't think I would have thought much about it. But they lied serial times and accused me of being combative when not believing in everything they were saying. My son was embarrassed I was embarrassed. I even walked my son up to the room before respectfully asking if he was making fun of him. The manager smirked in my face the entire time I was speaking to him. I WAS SHOCKED THE THE UNPROFESSIONAL MANNERISM AND TONE WHEN SPEAKING TO HIM. He was smirking in my face as if it was a joke to Jim. Something that I'm sure can be reviewed through cctv.

Consistently ambiguous. I can’t tell if 5 is on the left or 1. At any rateI feel this place is falling apart. No meat for breakfast, same eggs. Hot tub broke, cold water. Ironing board won’t fold back

How much will I be charged for this, already paid 100$ for soiled towels. Im glad going home tomorrow. This has been my third visit this year. Proximity to my job was only positive.

Two items left in room, retrieved by management put in safe place to be picked up, when we went to get them items could not be located have contacted hotel for updates management will not return calls

User's recommendation: Unfortunately missed items were only accessible to employees then when I finally able to speak to a new manager she informed me that all previous employees had been let go and that she would not be able to do anything because she was new how ridiculous it's still Cambria pro to be responsible it's not our problem that there were issues at their hotel!!!

I have never in my life been so insulted and purposely humiliated. After being accused of smoking in the room which I do not even smoke I then had this 20 something girl at the front desk literally laugh at me when I was trying to say that there was no one smoking in the room. Then the GM just stood there like it was his first day on the job while the housekeeping lady came to the lobby with towel in hand waving it around shouting that I got hair dye on HER towel and that will be 50.00s to replace the towel, you charge her you charge her she's telling the Manager. I was so angry, embarrassed and humiliated that I was in tears by the time I got to the car where my grandson was waiting for me. I could not make this up. They tried charging me 150.00s + 50.00s + 40.00s + 60.00s on top of the 100.00 deposit. And there pool was closed also had to move rooms because there sofa bed was broken. I travel and stay at hotels all the time and had never stayed at Cambria was excited to find a new hotel but honestly you'd have to give me me a lifetime of free rooms before I'd ever even think about trying it again but never at this location EVER.

First of all if someone is in their 20's they are a GROWN WOMAN, not a girl. Second you are NOT entitled to a full refund if you stayed.

Cannot afford a hotel room sleep in your car with your grandson. You should be arrested for leaving your grandson in the car alone.

I recevied my invoice on my credit card and noticed addiional charges of $2,697.83 from your hotel, located in Louisville, KY.

I have not left the state of Oklahoma this year. Some how someone has got my credit card number and used it at this hotel. These charges were made starting on July 18, for $1100.24, and one for $19.99, again on July 25, for $177.30, again on Aug. 01 for $1400.30. I have the only credit card that the number was used on. I am concerned how this number was used when I have the card. Does your hotels not require the card when checking in? I have filed a complaint with my credit card company to reverse these charges. It took him 35 minutes to check me in and no one knew exactly how anything operated asked about the shuttle service couldn't get an answer next morning had to take a cold shower. By far it needs new management

DWorst hotel stay ever. Floor so dirty it turned my feet black, they dont have enough towels to give customers, poor service at front desk, didnt clean my room for 3 days in a row and told me to leave my trash outside the door, didnt want to give us more toilet paper, ran out of coffee pods and cups to put in rooms, pool closed because light was broken (it was fixed after the hotel staff asked a hotel customer to fix it).

I stayed at the Cambria Hotel . while there the 1st night was fine went down the next morning talk to the front desk payed for another night (my boyfriend was also with me and has schizophrenia) and I try to keep a close eye on him) we were both at the front desk talking to the lady paying and she took my payment of $370 for one night (she also said to My boyfriend that a maid said he threw ice at the wall in the hall wall he said he was sorry she said okay but please don't do that again) we finished up the payment she gave me New room keys and we went to our room... while in the room I placed a order to instacart for hairspray some groceries face wash it was a $80 order... After placing the order we proceeded to walk out of our room down the hallway a little bit and as I see the lady from the front desk and a maintenance man is coming towards us told us we had to leave no explanation I'm the paying guest I was never told why I had to leave the hotel we were escorted to our room she opened the door with her key they stood outside the door we had 15 minutes to get our stuff and get out still no explanation we were escorted through the lobby and out the front door with a bunch of people in the lobby we were waiting outside for taxi next thing I know she's on the phone with the police saying we had to get off the property meanwhile she's still never told me the paying guest why I had to leave my room and I told her I got a picture on the phone the instacart had just delivered my food and I said can I go get my groceries and she told me no they kept my food kicked me out treated me like a criminal and I still have no idea why and nobody wants to correct this problem I've called guest relations they said every other hotel is on individually you have to call the manager I talked to the manager he will not refund my money I had to beg him to give me back my food cuz he said it sat in the closet and rotted and stunk up his room so he did agree to give me $80 back with my groceries which was over a week ago and he still has not done that I'm just at my Wit's end what is the public think about this am I wrong I'm so upset and I rate I would like my whole money back for the night in the hotel we got kicked out at 4:15 in the afternoon we had to go find another hotel and pay for that one that night any feedback would be great thank you
