Think twice before buying...

This company approached us prior to a large national meeting, offering a list of 3,000+ contacts in this industry.
I have had doubts since the beginning but they tried to reassure me by explaining how they were searching for the contacts. However, I was very short in time and needed to quickly send a pre-show mass emailing: I also took the risk to pay $400 for this list.
The list was supposed to be delivered to me in 1 or 2 days: it took almost a week. "Surprinsingly", long enough for them to receive my Paypal payment before they sent the list...
Once I received the list, it had nothing to do with the industry it was supposed to be... None of the 3,000+ contacts were usefull... A pure $400 loss...!!
I asked for a refund: they initially offered to send a new list but, based on what I saw in the first list, I refused. They also offered a $200 refund: I have been told 4 or 5 times since late October that the payment was being processed... 3 months later, I still haven't seen the money...

Was contacted by this company by e-mail. The company promised a list of 1000 contacts to include name of HIM Directors, name of acute care hospitals, e-mail addresses, mailing addresses and phone numbers.
Purchased the list of contacts for Acute Care Hospitals throughout the U.S.A. for a specific job title. Nearly 40% of the contacts e-mail bounced and over 20% were not valid contacts for the job title requested. Since the company was unable to provide 1000 valid contacts for the job title I requested, I offered an alternative job title as well.
The company provided 4 different contacts list, none of the 4 lists provided 80% or 800 valid contacts.
Would not purchase a contacts list from this company in the future. Repeated attempts to obtain a valid list or a refund were not successful.
