RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE
- - Rudeness from Katie Callahan, owner’s daughter.
- - She hung up after price concerns; online reviews were false; used another company.
I called in to get my refrigerator repaired and was met with rudeness by a Katie Callahan. Shew is the owners daughter.
She hung up on me after I told her her prices were really high. I also asked about all the bad reviews about her company that were online. She said they were false and got real snippy about it.
Needless to say, I called a different company to service me. People- use someone else, its not worth the bad customer service that this company provides.
SCAM RIPOFF COMPANY
- - Former employee reports atrocities and dishonest ownership.
- - Techs are commissioned and may add a rude premium; they hang up on difficult customers.
I was a former employee here. I saw atrocities committed.
Rude customer service associates, lying , cheating technicians, dishonest ownership, etc. The techs are paid by commission, so they have a stake in how much they charge for the jobs. There is also a way to price the jobs so that you can add a premium to the quote if the customer is being rude. I've seen this done by employees.
They hang up on customers if the customer is being difficult and then let the phones just ring and ring when they call back in. I don't recommend anyone work for this company.
Preferred solution: lower prices

Sorry, atrocities were Madjanek, Birkenau, Belsen, Babi Yar, and a number of other lovely German playgrounds. Not your stupid appliance.
Beware of their special in house warranty. It's overpriced all the way.
They charge $105 up front plus parts. They mark their parts up to cover their labor/trip charges they aren't charging. Technicians are paid by commission. Buyer Beware of Callahan's Appliance.
They will RIP YOU OFF ! GOOGLE THIS COMPANY FOR THEIR REVIEWS.
Right you are. Allow me to extrapolate : beware of all in house financing and warranty plans, home warranties, extended vehicle service plans, couch stain protector policies, etc.
They are nothing but cash cows for companies and very little benefit to consumers. Don't pay for something you haven't received and save your money to make your own choices about repairs and replacements, handled your way by people you choose.
Those things aren't warranties in the sense of factory or manufacturer's warranty but more like a *** insurance company with the twin departments of Delay and Deny who are located in the hallway of many pitfalls. There job is to (maybe) get you back to where you were yesterday with a seriously used whatever that functions.
