Cahaba Valley Learning Center Infant Child Care Program Review from Sylacauga, Alabama
- - A one-year-old attended the school for the first time.
- - Parents could watch via internet video.
- - A teacher allegedly dropped her on a bean bag; she cried.
It was my niece's first time attending this school. She just turned one in March. They allow parents to watch the classrooms via video from the internet.
My sister watched the teacher put them down for nap and get angry that my niece wouldnt stay laying down. She picks her up and drops her onto a bean bag chair. At this point she's crying hysterically. My brother in law leaves his job and walks inside, grabs her and her things, and leaves. They get her home and she's covered in ***. It's up her back and already starting to dry. She screams while they're wiping it all off and does everytime she pees.
The excuse was that the teacher was new and young, and should have been more patient. She's a one year old for crying out loud! She was with strangers and certainly not in her regular routine! For the teacher to say on her first day that she was too difficult to get laid down for nap is disgusting! So now, do we blame one year olds for our actions? So now is this my niece's fault? Give me a break! She wasn't the only baby being mistreated. They should be ashamed for this. Turning the situation around on a one year old!
