Capital Alternatives Group AKA CAG brokers are selling fake carbon credits, diamonds and palm oil with NO intention of liquidating your investment

Its has come to my attention that this company has been trading in fake products. I have been contacted by ex AGT thief Mr Steve Graham. He claimed that i would recieve 15-25% return on my investment which i would be able to liquidate at anytime.

He also claimed that CAG brokers were working in partnership with the UAE government. That in fact was a lie. I researched with the DCCE and that claim was pure fiction.

After further Research, it appears that SUPER SCAMMER GABOR SZALAY. He also has dealing with Provident Real Estate in Dubai, also very well known for their poor service to customers as well as selling properties that have run out of funding and have no intention of being completed. Their wrap sheet is longer than the SZR.

Graham and Szalay are running a scam just like AGT. Using the same script, brochure and even training as AGT.

Steve Graham is also known to police in the UK for his part in a huge fraud scam that fraudulently stole thousands of pounds from Old Age Pensioners in the Midlands and Sheffield area. This man is a nasty piece of work and a criminal.

It real makes you question the Gabors selection in staff when it comes to recruitment.

I hope no one invests with them and if you hear or any of these two individuals attempting to do business with you, stay away.

Becareful fellow consumers. Dubai is full of crooks.

Are scamming investors by selling carbon credits and diamond deals. They claim that they are working for the UAE government. The owner is Gabor Szalay who is also a partner in Provident Real Estate. The company is headed up by Steve Graham who is ex AGT (Advance Global Trading) who conned a lot of investors.

Gabor Szalay fron Dubai is very well known for scams in Dubai within Carbon, Diamonds and the Real Estate market.

Be very aware of this company. They are cold calling people every day and bullying them.

As we know it has been in the press lately as a big scam.

3) CAG brokers were buying the carbon credits for 50 cents and selling them for 13 dollars.

4) Carbon credits don’t exist

5) Only two members of your staff had a visa the other nine were told to do visa runs. That is illegal in the UAE

6) You fired your staff one week before Christmas

7) You never paid your staff commission or their basic salary most months

8) You never paid suppliers even down to the stationary orders

9) You set up a boiler room cold calling innocent expats (which is illegal in the UAE)

The company then started selling palm oil, coco ETC which everybody knows the investments do not give any return and you never get your money out it is all a Ponzi scheme.

Why shut the company down if you are such a successful businessman? Why change the name to Akrine diamonds and set up in the DMCC? If your company is so successful why have you upset so many people?

These guys also claim to offset a companies carbon emissions which is a big LIE. They are attempting to defraud EVERYONE. Companies, individuals, anyone who will give them the time of day.

Do not entertain anyone from this company. Their website is no longer up, their linkedin profile and facebook page have also been removed. This is the beginning of the end we are witnessing.

Gabor Szalay and Steve Graham will soon disappear along with everyone's money. Just remember guys, Easy come, easy go.

You will not get away.

CAG has several legal cases open against them. They owe serveral employees money with clearly no intention of settling up.

Gabor is a certified thief and Steve is just a rat who who is dumb to notice when its time to leave a sinking ship.

The main thing is CAG are closing which is a blessing to everyone. Steve and Gabor will never get away with this.

I would like to say i also worked for Gabor, he is not a good man.. i dont know if he is a thief and a crook as everyone is mentioning.

however i have heard he has sold his real estate company and no longer owner in the agency.. i have also heard he is setting up shop in JLT selling diamonds.

Everything said is fact, so stop trying to use scare tactics Steve and Gabor, you guys scammed alot of people, if you think im slandering you then go onto google and search up that AGT video of steve, show the cops that video and tell them that what we are saying is false. Steve graham you are a coward and a heartless individual, all you care about is money and women who look under the age of 18 you sick ***. Gabor your just pathetic, there is so much to be said about you but theirs no point because you are a pathetic man and everyone who knows you knows this, i pray for you gabor, go find the light or something.

CAG brokers lawyer this and lawyer that, you guys have still yet to pay past employee's from what i heard. Its pretty funny when a company that screws over people both investors and employee's for money but the second people start talking bad they run to a lawyer for some advice, Grow a pair of balls CAG own up to what you've done and what you continue on planning to do.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you for you kind comments and astute observations regarding the operational efficiency and the personal characteristics of our senior management team. Unfortunately as a business, we don't get all our decisions correct, especially recently in the area of recruitment. However, like anyone else, we can learn from our mistakes.

We defend 100% an individuals right to have an opinion about their workplace or indeed their ex colleagues, but what we can not, and will not condone under any circumstances, are defamatory statements about any of our employees.

Fortunately in the UAE businesses and individuals alike are protected by some of the most stringent defamation legislation available - especially when it comes to social media.

In the UAE, any commentary posted (anonymously or not) may lead to criminal charges for defamation. We have seen first hand the number of defamation cases in the UAE increasing substantially within the region. Some recent cases involved an individual posting to twitter unfounded accusations of corruption and injustice against a senior police officer, and another well publicised case resulted in four individuals being sentenced to imprisonment after exchanging insults on Twitter.

So, what exactly should you know about defamation and social media in the UAE? Well, we thought we would be helpful and let you know what we know.....

Defamation in the UAE is a criminal offence.

Defamation includes both oral and published statements, and will include any statement posted to a website which causes harm to the person the statement is about.

Any allegation of defamation must be filed with the police within three months from the date of publication of the "defamatory statement".

Once the criminal complaint is filed, the Police investigate the complaint and, if they conclude there is evidence of defamation, refer it to the Public Prosecutor for charging.

There is no civil action for defamation; however the complainant can file a civil claim for damages pursuant to the general principles of tort ("wrongful acts causing harm") and may be entitled to financial compensation, provided the elements can be proved.

It is also a crime, punishable by up to seven years' imprisonment, to insult or abuse any religion, using any means (which is wide enough to include the posting of religious comments to twitter and facebook).

The UAE courts will not grant injunctive relief preventing future publications of the "defamatory statement".

If found guilty, individuals can face up to two years in prison or a fine of up to AED 20,000.

There are two main defamation offences set out in Articles 372 and 373 of UAE Federal Law No. 3 of 1987 (as amended) ("the Penal Code"). Article 372 deals with a publicity which exposes the victim to public hatred or contempt and Article 373 deals with a false accusation that dishonours or discredits the victim in the public eye.

To succeed with a criminal complaint for defamation, the complainant must prove:

a false or defamatory statement was made;

which was issued to a third party (either in writing or verbally); and

that statement caused "harm" to the complainant.

The absence of any of these elements will undermine the merits of any such complaint.

The highest court of appeal in Dubai, the Court of Cassation, has held that a defamatory statement is likely to make the defamed person subject to "punishment" or "humiliation" amongst their community. In a more recent decision, the Court held that mere criticism may be regarded as defamatory if it exceeds the "normal limits" or affects the honour of a defamed individual.

If the statement is made via "printed matter" (which would include social media) or against a public officer this will be considered an aggravating circumstance, which may increase the severity of the punishment. Statements which insult a person's honour or family will also be subject to penalties at the more severe end of the scale.

Rightly or wrongly, the legislation is clear, and the penalties can be severe. Individuals should ensure they understand the perils associated with posting any comments which may be construed as defamatory.

We are currently engaged with our legal representatives and indeed our contacts within Dubai Police, taking advice on how we should proceed to protect our business interests, and also our employees.

In addition, we are currently in negotiation with this website about the responsibility they have regarding the posting of defamatory comments on their website and the responsibility that they have to ensure that the comments posted are factually correct, non defamatory and accurate.

It is interesting to note that all posts are traceable via IP addresses, regardless of VPN or internet cafe usage, and should a defamation case be lodged, the website must disclose these addresses to the investigating authorities.

If you wish to continue with your postings, please feel free to do so, your comments could indeed help us improve our business, and any criticism both good and bad is welcomed, however, please be aware of the legislation that protects both us as a business, and specific individuals.

There are only negative comments on here, targeted at senior management and the company ONLY. I find it hard to believe sooo many disgruntled employees have so many lies to tell.

It doesnt add up. Also 90% of the comments here can be confirmed by a quick google search.

Im sorry, its not the employees thats the problem, its the company and their activity. Thats my opinion

I have just found out that Gabor Szalay has shut down CAG brokers just like any other boiler room scam and they do NOT work in partnership with the UAE government. He is trying to open up in JLT some wealth management and investment company, i wish him good luck as i have submitted a complaint there against him.

Unfortunately because he has shut down boiler room "CAG brobers" those expats who invested money will never see it as there were selling thin air. i have tracked down his direct line "Gabor Szalay 050-702****" contact him direct to see if you can get some money back that he stole. I wish you guys the very best and i hope that he returns some money.

And i am so glad of websites like this as we can stop boiler room scams and protect innocent people from the likes of Gabor Szalay.

Steve if you even attempt to do carbon credits in this country i will personally go to every bank and show them your youtube video where you try to make people invest in a boiler room scam (AGT) then see where you end up. And as for Gabor you theiving puppet, you and provident won't be doing well very soon after people get word about this. I hear your starting a new diamond company in JLT and you better make sure the moment i find out the name i will be informing all of dubai. First will be my local friends who will tell their fathers and hopefully fall onto the ears of a sheikh.
