Karen and Michael Jesso discriminate against local patrons

I went to Cafe Borgia this week for lunch to celebrate a co-workers birthday. We had a total of 16 people including a few clients. When we arrived for our reservation, and told the waitress we would like a private room, the waitress told us we would have to pay $100 non-refundable deposit to get one. The place was dead btw. I've never heard of a $100 non-refundable deposit to eat lunch so we just decided we would eat in the main seating area. The service was horrible and they made us sit at this long table that had two "kiddie" tables at the end. We don't have any kids. Everyone there was extremely rude, we couldn't get service when we needed it and one of our clients overheard one waitress talking about how she hopes Russia nukes the entire country of Ukraine. The food also sucked, in my opinion. My boss, who is extremely generous paid for the entire lunch which was more than $2,000. He tipped every one of the waitstaff $340 and then gave each of them another $100 bill as our staff slowly started to leave. He still had some business to take care of with one of our clients so the two of them decided to take a seat at the bar for a drink. The bartender who was blonde, foreign and in her 30's was extremely rude and obnoxious. I think she may have been Russian. She refused to serve them a drink unless they ordered food. My boss explained to her that he didn't want any food because he just spent $2k on lunch and he wasn't hungry. The bartender said "I don't serve drinks unless you order food." I was shocked at how rude she was and the way she stormed off. We ended up leaving after my boss complained and Karen Jesso, the owner called the office this morning looking for my boss. One of our management staff explained exactly what happened, that we felt like we were being discriminated against and that we shouldn't have to order more food in order to have a drink after spending more than $2k on lunch. Karen's response was "I guess we're just not a good fit then. You can take your business elsewhere" What kind of a business owner says that to someone? My boss sent a buddy of his in there today to order a drink at the bar without food. He was served a drink without ordering food, no problem. If this isn't proof that these guys discriminate against certain members of the local community, then I don't know what is. Do not support this business, Cafe Borgia should be shut down.
