Cadman will not take responsibility for damage
Please ignore original report. Here's what it should say.
Cadman will not take responsibility for damage caused to my vehicle by a stone that flew off of one of their trucks on I-90. On Friday August 10, 2018 I was traveling westbound on I-90 around 2:15pm. As I was passing a Cadman truck/trailer combination, a stone flew off of the trailer and struck my windshield on the right side of my car. Another stone scratched the passenger front door.
I slowed down so that my daughter could take a picture of the truck and record its license plate. The driver slowed down to 40 mph such that my daughter was unable to take a picture of the trailer. I presented the incident to Cadman and they promptly provided their insurance policy number and told me to file a claim. They said there should be no problem.
But the insurance company denied my claim saying that both loads were covered. I presented my case again to Cadman and they said there was nothing they could do, saying “I would have to believe that this was something that came from the road.” This is just another case of a large company taking advantage of an individual, because they can.

Cadman Sand & Gravel drivers menace to commuters
I was already driving 60-65 MPH, so I was shocked when and I saw truck headlights screaming up in my rear view mirror like a bat out of *** on I-405 southbound in the dark at 830 PM...
To avoid getting crushed by this speeding menace, I had to cross over into an off ramp at high speed... I paralleled him on the freeway and called the State Patrol and reported license # LJ 1968 ? as he continued breaking the speed limit and weaving dangerously thru traffic in the dark...
The next day when I reported the offender to Cadman Sand & Gravel's Driver Supervisor Howard Hawk, he claimed an engine governor switch prohibited driving over 65 MPH ( ?? )...
Then on 1/06/12 while on the way to the office on I-405 Northbound, what do I see ? ANOTHER tail-gating Cadman truck, trailer license # 6433-UJ on my bumper in broad daylight at 60 MPH...
When I finally exited, he deliberately swerved his double rig 4 feet over the lane line, forcing me to take evasive action...
Guess I should break the speed limit in the right-hand lane so Cadman can own the road... Pray they have their Health insurance all paid up in full...
