Disapointing

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years but as time has passed everything has slipped: food quality is just ok; service is very slow; The music is so loud that it drowns out any hope of conversation. It is a very unpleasant place to try and enjoy a meal. The overall condition of the place looked cheep and shabby with holes so large in the thatched roof rain hits the table tops, Not a place I would recommend to anyone. One other thing. the price for the food and the beverages was designed I believe to take advantage of the seasonal people that come to this area in the winter months.

DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR FROM STAFF

I would like to say how absolutely appalled I am at the customer service (or lack of) at the loganholme store. I am completely disgusted at how the staff here think they can get away with swearing at customers over a poorly listed menu item. When the item menu states: BBQ RIBS | $22.95 Choose between a full or half rack of American style BBQ ribs served with Mexican Matchsticks and a fresh home style Mexican salad. Choice of Pork or Beef BBQ ribs Full $35.95 And you order the FULL RACK OF PORK RIBS, you expect a FULL RACK OF PORK RIBS - not a half a rack. When we stated that we were not happy with the meal and we did not want to pay for the meal, we were advised that the "manager" was advised of this and was "sorting it out". After waiting for 10 minutes at our table for someone to return to let us know what was happening (the whole time receiving dirty looks from the all of the staff) we decided that we would go to the counter to find out what was going on. We were greeted with "you got what you ordered so you will need to pay for the meal". According the the incompetent "manager and boss" a full rack of ribs is 450g and is a "full serve". We asked why this is not stipulated in the menu listing and the response was "we know the weight and this is what we served to you". We then asked where in the menu listing it specified that a full rack of ribs is 450g. We were then greeted with a not so professional staff member who proceeded to read the item listing and then swear at us (in front of our 2 year old son). The "manager & boss" then proceeded to enter the payment into the eftpos machine so we could make payment. Luckily, we questioned whether the ribs were removed from the bill to which he stated "I have know charged you for half of the meal". I find it very difficult to believe that not wanting to pay for a meal that was incorrectly listed is a justifiable reason to have staff bully us into paying for a meal. Our bill totalled $134 approx and we were happy to pay for the full amount less the cost of the ribs (which remained uneaten and untouched). As the staff member had become irate and uncontrollable, we decided that we would pay the bill and leave as he was genuinely scaring our 2 year old who started to become inconsolable. I would appreciate it if the actual owner would contact me as this behavior is totally unacceptable. We were abused over a $35.95 meal and that kind of behavior is disgusting! I will also be forwarding a formal complaint to the office of fair trading as this kind of misconduct should not be considered acceptable by any means.
