Poor Customer Service

I sent a booking request through cruise compete, and JD offered me a low price. the on-line form was very cumbersome to use, so I called JD directly. she was very abrupt with me, and said she was walking out the door, and suggested I call customer service. I called customer service, and was online for so long, that I decided to tackle the situation in the morning. The next day, after finally figuring out how to navigate the system, I saw that the price had increased by $17. I send JD 3 emails to see if it was a Carnival price increase, or a system error, she never responded. Finally, she responded, and suggested that I just book the cruise before more price increases occur. The price she quoted should have been valid for more than a few hours - especially when she was unable to walk me through. A good travel agent would have just readjusted the price by the $17, or gave me a ship board credit to offset the difference.

Not all agents are honorable

I have booked with them before. This time i had a problem talked yo agent about a room i wanted. She sent me the quote. I pit a hold on room. She emailed me next day and said the room went up 70. 00. Then said i did not know room cat. When i talked to rick a director and showed him the quote. He told me to contact customer service. As managememt i think he should habe taken care of it. Also i think he was protecting the agent that made the mistake.

Cabin Clearance Store Cruise Booking Review

Beware of using this cruise selling company. Be sure they honor any quotes you obtain. Be sure you get any onboard credits you are due. Read reviews before using this agency. Do the opposite of what I did.
