Byte - I didn't order the kit

I received an impression kit that I didn't order. My CC was hacked.

I just wanted customer service to know what to do with this thing and make sure I wasn't charged again.

Waited on hold for almost an hour. Phone died or I would probably still be waiting.

Need a refund there refusing

Started using this product in Dec 2023. Had 10 aligners.

They didn't straighten my teeth. I have been reaching out to them for 2 months. All they do is give me a run around. They never help me.

This is a disgusting company. I paid via care credit. They refuse to give me a refund.

I really wish i could sue them. It's a scam.

Pain and Suffering improperly fitting aligners poor customer communication follow up caused ligament damage

Hello,

Its been a REALLY long journey with BYTE for me. On July 7, 2022 (see photo PayPal Payment) I paid $1999.00 for BYTE Aligner Treatment plan that was led to believe after following instructions and communicating through BYTE ap or by phone call I would be purchasing a product that would align my teeth in a short amount of time using the overnight treatment plan.

I have followed your instructions faithfully as requested in keeping with your plan keeping my aligners on through the nighttime for 10 hours and went to great lengths to keep in touch regarding my questions and concerns and or progress or lack of it.

As you can review from your logs, I struggled significantly with very poor customer communication issues with your reps getting opposing advice from phone contact and BYTE contact (a rep as recorded told me that BYTE was trying to resolve some communication issues with their reps) so I was left confused and extremely frustrated, who do I believe? What is going on here? These are not fitting properly I was told, i had to deal with a chipped tooth, yet I tried to remain patient as my goal was to straighten my teeth and to get what I had paid for.

My aligners rarely fit properly throughout this process as they had many air gaps and I was told to wait by one rep stay in the same aligner for weeks on end another rep said they were going to send a realignment kit that took many weeks to get. I had to remold for a second time, and once this realignment liners arrived I was unable to even put them on because BYTE sent out my original liners rather than ones that would have reflected the second molding.

Again disorganization at BYTE sending out completely obvious badly fitting aligners that I could not even put on. That was video recorded, check that out! So again I had to stay in the one aligner for over a month until they resent the supposedly the correct fitting aligners.

NOW with the correction made to the realigners I have been told by a rep to stay in each aligner for two weeks (conversation I have saved) because she told me my teeth are slow moving and she recommended I slow up the process. I have been doing so up to #4 aligners.

The bottom aligners have felt extremely tight but thought after all this time BYTE would get it right. Also was advised to stop communicating through the BYTE ap as you were having issues you were trying to work out because I was getting conflicting advice and they were saying they were sending me my final retainer when the process was as yet incomplete! I am on aligners #4 of the realignment batch and have for the past month on and off been experiencing a GREAT DEAL OF PAIN (9 out of 10!) in my upper and lower left rear molars. I made an appt today with my dentist as I am exhausted being unable to sleep at night due to this pain and uncertain what the cause was.

I just returned from my dental appt.

had X-rays done and discovered the pain is being caused by ligament strains from your poorly fitting BYTE aligners that shifted my bite so much my alignment was way out of wack and due to that it has strained my ligaments. I was advised by my dentist that the push and pull of putting on your aligners for 10 hours and then taking them off during the day causes distress to my ligaments and I had to have an occlusion to readjust my bite to ease the ligament strain. Well the ligaments are still bothersome after my appt but significant improvement thus far and so I have decided it is best for me to stop treatment with BYTE altogether and to get a refund for the pain and suffering I am dealing with due to in fact, truth be told, of both a lack of effective pertinent communication and poorly fitting aligners that has caused me great deal of pain and suffering and frustration, and most importantly your product when followed by your instructions did not provide me the results you had guaranteed it would.

Please review your files and phone contacts with me and your reps, online advice, etc. etc.

you will see I have been more than patient with BYTE and I am very HOPEFUL you will honor a refund on my behalf to correct this wrongdoing and my inability to continue with your aligners as I do not want to do permanent damage to my ligaments.

I have recorded and saved all my contact attempts through your ap, my excessive emails contacts, FaceTime meetings with your specialists etc. So if I do not get a response or a refund I will seek legal remedy and share my experience with others who may be considering BYTE for their teeth alignment.

If customer service is a priority it will be clear by your response. We are all different and respond differently but as I have shared I had followed all your instructions and BYTE did not live up to their contact agreement in providing me the guidance and quality product a customer should expect to receive.

Irate customer

I have tried your program numerous time havent gotten past the first tray! Contacted customer service about the fit to no avail.

Took sick couldnt use the program for a while. Been trying to resume for a few weeks now still dont fit properly!!! I even tried to use the hyperbyte and the thing doesnt work!! Needless to say (putting it mildly) IRATE and Thorougly discussted!!

PS I EVEN NOTIFIED YOUR COMPANY THAT I WAS ILL AND COULDNT USE THE PROGRAM FOR AWHILE. NO RESPONSE FROM YOU. THIS IS TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I AM RETURNING THE ENTIRE KIT TO YOU! I HAVE ALSO NOTIFIED THE FINANCE COMPANY THAT I AM RETURNING THE KIT TO YOU.

I havent notified anyone else as of yet. I will get the address from the internet. Unless you supply another one.

Customer service is non-existent.

I called, texted, and used their support site every hour for two days. I NEVER received help.

I have worn their aligners for 124 months although they originally said 5 months. One set of aligners was worn for 3months without support from Byte.

Terrible customer service and cannot get a refund

Purchased and financed son's aligners for teeth alignment.

Most were wrong and/or broken and needed cut by us. At the end of the treatment, the retainers broke after a week of use.

Went thru the process and still never received the new retainers. Now I have contacted them and called over a dozen times and each time they say they are working on it. I am still paying monthly for service and product that was never completed. I originally paid $1895 which I financed.

They still are taking out of my bank account and I am told I cannot stop that. I would like a refund from these people.

The service was subpar at best and the customer service is atrocious.

This is BYTEME.COM not the software company!! They are owned by Dentsply Sirona Inc.
