Pricing Scam
- - Sign advertised Easter buffet 12.95 until 2 p.m.; switch to 21.95.
- - Charged 21.95 plus drinks and 18% gratuity; no remedy for Easter vs Sundays.
Myself and 2 others went to Easter buffet at By The Docks in Middle River, Maryland. This place had a sign saying buffet for 12.95 until 2 p.m..
After we were seated, we were told they were switching to dinner and that the cost was $21.95. This was 30 minutes before 2p.m. They charged us for $21.95 plus the cost of softdrinks and 18 percent gratuity. The price was more like $30.00 per person.
After complaining they said the sign outside was for Sundays but not Easter but nowhere did it say that. After complaining they would do nothing.
Very poor customer service.
