Payments for unused subscription

I got this service years ago and stopped using it and canceled. I'm shocked to see you are still taking an annual subscription years later. Please cancel immediately.

They have offered a refund, but it will take upto 7 days to appear on the credit card.

I have been a Buxfer customer for two years. The first year I paid $120 for the service.

This last year I started pricing around their service. I found some that were less and was going to cancel the service. They offered me 30% off to keep me as a customer. This would have been billed at $84 for the next year.

They automatically billed me $170 for the service. When I contacted them about the issue, they eventually got back to me about 3 weeks later with a resolution stating that they could not honor legacy pricing and that there was nothing they could do.

I asked to speak with a manager and provided my phone number. Four days later, I have not heard a word from them and have sent another request for a refund.
After writing this review and canceling my membership I received an email stating that I would get a full refund placed back on the CC charged.

  • Service is slow and inadequate

No reply for over a month on issue with software

It's been over 30daus that we are unable to split any transaction to multiple tags. Reached out 5 times to the buyer support email and sent bug reports.

For months now, I've been charged for a premium Buxfer subscription, but still do not have access to any of the features I'm being billed for.

I tried to reach out via their feedback tool within the software, but received and error message every time I hit send. I was unable to reach them via their own support option, so I emailed customer service two weeks ago (Nov 30, 2023) I even included screenshots of their error messages to make it easier for them to solve the problem.

They said they would look into it.

No response for 5 days. I asked again. They said to provide screenshots of my billing statements from my credit card. I did so.

They still can't figure out why I'm being charged while still unable to use their product.

Update: January 2024: eventually was able to access to their app, but it only got worse from there.

The app is incredibly buggy. I cant even sync accounts manually, even though Im paying for the auto-sync feature. (The auto-sync has yet to work despite numerous attempts.) Ive gotten more error messages than I can count. The app is confusing and customer support is awful.

I emailed back and forth with their support for weeks trying to make the accounts sync properly.

It was extremely frustrating. Even after all that, they still couldnt fix the problem.

I asked for a refund for the months I was charged for as I was unable to use the app because it would not function properly.

They refused.

I have tried to cancel on a Desktop Computer.

Once this problem is resolved I would be happy to sign up again as long as you can assure me that the system will work.
