Verified ReviewerAmazing Butterfinger with marshmallows coating
The new marshmallow butterfinger is really good although it tastes more like white chocolate I think they should add a little more of the marshmallows to it. But its definitely good and should become a regular.
Have spoken with many that love it! Just wish more stores carried it I had checked over 20 stores that didnt have it!
Damaged Bags of Butterfingers
Our family purchases three bags of the jumbo butterfingers weekly. Two of the three bags were not sealed properly, wrappers not cut and open ended, sticky in goo inside the bag.
My husband threw out the bags.
However I successfully retrieved one and this is the lot number. L029KDA-MH Best by date September 11 2025

The one thing I wait on all year because they have the audacity to only make at Easter, then they discontinue making, are the nest eggs. Please, please bring them back and not only at Easter.
How about Christmas, Valentine's Day, or any other holiday? We are definitely begging to bring them back year-round, PLEASE!!!
Preferred solution: I would Definitely be grateful if they would bring the nesteggs back and not only at Easter how about all year long. PLEASE!!!!! Like NOW?? The only kind of candy I LOVE!!! Now I can't get them!!!!
So far I have opened 1 and my husband has opened one and they are so hard you could use a hammer to break threm up.
Make sure that there are always fresh Butterfingers. Nothing is better than to bite into a fresh Butterfinger and have it all break apart in your mouth. Your taste buds celebrate the exciting flavor that keeps popping up the entire time you eat your candy bar down to the last crumb.
User's recommendation: check the expiration date the one i just had a bad experience with exp date of March 17, 2025
Poor quality of double packed butterfinger candy bars.
The last 4 times that I purchased double packed butterfinger candy bars over a period of 2 months I had to throw them away because they were hard as brick bats.BU
User's recommendation: Use caution when buying and do not purchase if the product is obviously old.

Verified ReviewerTHE NEW BUTTERFINGER IS AWFUL
I'm 70+ years old and have eaten more than my weight in Butterfingers ever since they first came out.BUT YOU RUINED A WONDERFULLY DIFFERENT CANDY BAR by making it taste just like any other peanut butter candy. Instead of being my favorite bar now I HATE THEM.
Why not create an original recipe to offer too.
Otherwise if I want choc. & PB, I'LL JUST BUY A REESE CUP!!!
- Great appearance
- Yuck
- Awful taste
Preferred solution: Bars made from old recipe offered to buy!
User's recommendation: Buy Reese Cups!!!!!
New recipe is horribly disgusting
The new recipe is so disgusting! everyone Ive asked hates it and wont even buy them anymore, I dont know why they would change it so dramatically..
it tastes nothing like the original and now its nothing special, just bad tasting peanut butter with chocolate, I cant even comprehend whos buying these gross things.. Im done buying them unless they change it back.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
User's recommendation: Don’t buy these gross things
Nestle added peanut butter to an already delicious candy bar.
The addition of peanut butter to the flavor of the original
butterfinger candy bar, in my estimation, has ruined the taste of my favorite snack. If they felt that adding peanut butter to this delicious bar was a wise choice, then they should have at least kept the original bar available to those of us who prefer the original or who cannot eat it due to the addition of peanuts. I wonder if they tested it out on it consumers before doing away with the original taste.
You call the new recipe Butterfinger "improved"??
Another greedy company looking to increase profits has ruined another once great American brand

New butterfinger recipe?
What the heck did you do to my favorite candy bar in the world!!!
my husband and I sat down, while camping, to enjoy our long awaited treat for the day.
The flavor changed some how, used to get that intense peanut butter flavor, with chewy, and at the same time crunchy middle that I used to enjoy. Also doesn't seem to be as sweet as it used to be.
Wish you hadn't changed the perfect blend. Cathy Nelson
