Business Management Daily - misrepresents

Business Management Daily offers human resource type publications to companies via the Internet.

They send out one or more promo every day. Each includes the following representation:

"Your satisfaction is unconditionally guaranteed. If you decide that ... (whatever you select) isn't all we've promised and more, we will refund 100% of the cost. No questions asked..."

I requested a book on age discrimination which was offered with no postage fee. The material consisted of a booklet that was sent in a standard sized envelope. (Thanks for that free postage). The majority of the material referenced was from the 1990's. Most recent ref was 2005. There was nothing that couldn't be obtained from a basic Internet search.

I sent an email requesting a refund - no reply. Same result with a second req. I called and expressed my suspicion to the person that answered that the operation was a sham. He was adamant that it was not and assured me that my refund would be sent immediately. Didn't happen. Waited a few weeks. Called again and related my experience to another customer service rep. Same lie. Same outcome.

These guys should be investigated for fraudulent behavior.

Agreed!! Trying to get my money back, and so far, I have been promised, and relieved nothing back, AND, charged another $97. I am thinking that this needs to be reported to my credit card company as fraud.
