Where are my boxes?

My boxes were picked up on August 15th in Fresno, Ca. I was told they were to arrive in Gasden,Ala.

in 14 days.

I have not been notified that they have arrived. I would like to pick them up.

Greyhound is the worst choice for shipping your belongings to another place. My boxes have been lost for two months, there are no shipping updates, when you call and speak with a representative they have no answers( and I’ve called every day for two months inquiring about ALL OF MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS).

All they have to say is sorry, this is normal. Well that’s utter crap. You are handling people’s personal belongings...you don’t get to lose that stuff. You speak with a professional English speaking person when you call inquiring about shipping your packages with them and they insure you will be well taken care of and then when they lose everything you own and care about, you get to speak with some Philippino who doesn’t speak a word of English.

It is disgusting and unprofessional and I will never use greyhound busfreightor again. They have lost tens of thousands of dollars of my belongs, including Tiffany bracelets my dad gave me, my Frye boot collection, my camera equipment ( I am a professional photographer). They have lost an $899 pair of ski boots, all my clothes, special belongings from relatives that have passed away, all my keepsakes, EVEYTHING . And have nothing to say for It.

You can’t even speak with a manager when you call, you have to fill out a form to request that a manger will call you(which they surely will not call you!). The emotional trauma of this loss is unbearable. I advertise how much greyhound sucks as often as I can. The only belongings I have are the ones I put in a suitcase and flew across the country.

I am heartbroken over all the keepsakes I have lost, things that mean so much to me that I could never replace.

And they don’t fulfill the insurance you pay for. They are disgustingly unprofessional and do not care about their customers. It wouldn’t surprise me if they just steal people’s personal belongs. Horrific.

I’ve never written a review before, but this is such a loss I felt like warning people. Pay 200$ a box to have things shipped with a professional company that will look after your belongings. There are some things you can’t replace and this is is just unforgivable. I’m a young person starting out and now have the additional hardship of replacing my clothing and homewears and electronics.

I chose greyhound because of how sweet and helpful they were on the the phone and how affordable they were, but it’s a scam. The lower price isn’t worth the risk. Breaks my heart.

This is a Shyster company. Go with a different company.

I was charged double , when I went to question about it , was told I agreed to it . I wouldn’t use bus freighter again, you should have used greyhound express. I use to refer everyone who needed something awkward like rims or bumpers , but not any more
