Not getting content i paid for

I haven't been keeping track but for several years now you can only give Tess one dawning cookie at a time and you have to re-open her inventory EVERY SINGLE TIME. WHY?
It makes me not want to give her cookies ever again. Also when you click it too many times surprise, surprise what's right under it but the next expansion pre order as well as the extra seasons.
Not only is this situation annoying to turn in 30 cookies with but it teases you with the advertisement. This can't be a good way to advertise the next expansion if it comes up to annoy people when they're trying to get rid of 30 things 1 at a time
