Bought bullseye oil and it was used

I manage a auto repair shop, recently a local gas station was going out of business, I purchased all of there bottled oil to use in my shop at a very good price. I purchased over 100 cases of oil of name brand such as mobil, shell, penzoil and other brands including Bullseye. I was changing oil on a regular customers vehicle, while I was adding the oil (bullseye oil) I noticed it was very dark and towards the bottom of the bottle it was sludge. I proceded to open the rest of the bottles of bullseye that I had purchased , over a 100 of them, every one contained used oil

Their selling used motor oil as new

I am highly pissed! Stopped by a local corner store to grab some motor oil to put in my car. Grabbed two bottles of 5 W 30. Never heard of the name brand BULLSEYE but I needed the oil and that was the only thing there. Oil is oil right??? Wrong. Dumped almost two quarts of this *** into my car when I realized that the oil looked like it was used. I took it back into the store and showed the manager there and he immediately removed the product from the shelf. He agreed that this was used oil. Well, being that I'm not made of money and couldn't go have the oil flushed from my engine I had to just drive the car with it already in there. I have since been having major issues with my car and the engine sounds like it's going to blow up. Never had a problem with it before. Tried to locate the company and they are no where to be found however while doing my search I ran across The Petroleum Quality Institute of America website. I found their website to be extremely helpful in finding out that this Bullseye Oil is indeed used motor oil and it has caused thousands and thousands of dollars worth of damage to cars. However it is still allowed to be sold at stores. Everytime this company starts getting some publicity they pack up and move locations, have taken their website off the internet, and disconnected phone numbers. So tell me why they are allowed to keep selling this ***? I will not stop looking for answers until I find them and they pay for the damage that their product has done to my car. Let this be a warning to everyone out there! I believe they also sell ATF and other products as well. HAs anyone else experienced this problem?

I put a quart of this oil in my truck and some black *** went in the motor out of this " new" truck now has a knock..this just happened 2 days ago, this is ***....

I just bought two quarts of 5w30 and I started pouring and the first quart was almost like water so I complained to the store owner and he assured me this was how oil is supposed to be. So I opened the second quart and it was dark thick and obviously used.

This company is full of *** as well as the store owner who sold it to me. Please if anyone can find out who these crooks are post it so we can be refunded for our damages because it is totally ridiculous ????

The company is run by a crook who has shut down and changed the name several times. There are people looking for him but he can not be found the guys name is Carlos Silva so anything related to him should be considered fraud.

He is selling what he clearly knows to be garbage and harmful because he is making a huge profit off selling used oil that would otherwise be either disposed of or put through a proper recycling program. The guy is nothing more than a lying thief and he should be put in prison yet his substandard products are allowed to still be sold to this day even though it has been known for well over a year that the motor oil does not meet any of the required specs required for it to be sold as 10W30 motor oil.

The company can not and never will make a quality product since it was set up as a company to rip off consumers. Fraud is fraud period fins that *** and put him in prison where he belongs and do not ever buy any of his products.

I bought some of their oil yesterday (10-19-12). I was just a little over a quart low, so I just dumped the first quart in without looking at it, but when I started pouring some of the second one in slowly I saw that it looked like used oil.

New oil shoul have sort if a goldish color not be black. I immediately tried to find a number for BullsEye but there isn't one one the bottle. I tried the website but it seems like everybody's come up but theirs.

I contacted the store and they replaced both bottles with a different oil, but I still had to but enough oil and a filter and change my oil. My philosophy use to be Some oil is better than no oil, with that oil it would be the same.

you get what you pay for. Bullseye is not a rated product but can make a quality product as the raw materials are what are available.

If your car was a newer car then you need an api rated SN oil.

If not then depending upon the batch it could be a quality product or one of the products that was recalled. You can contact us by calling 773-507-****

I am the owner of ISA REPS who has the phone number of 773-507-**** and we have never sold any Bullseye products. We over the years had competed with Bullseye with the labels from CMI (Cruz-In) and New World Sales (Super XXX).

I do not know who Robert is or have never had a Robert employed.

You can go to the API web site to see the oils that are not good. The Super XXX brand I sold was made by various plants as a private label as they never owned their own plant and some was good and some was not.

The Anti-Freeze was good but I would stay away from the oils with that label.

All cars have in the manuel to use the most current product or at least what was the most current at the time of producing the cars. Note that a "SB" oil has not been recommended since 1965 and that as of today (July 14, 2014 most manufacture's are using the most current of "SN" with a certified donut on the back with the API logo.

Currently we do not rep any brands of oil or anti-freeze but be careful of what you buy and make sure if you are using an off brand, you know what you are buying.
