I was asking about shipping discount but there is nothing. I wanted at least a few dollars off of my shipping charge.
My order is almost 100.00 before shipping so I dont know if I will place the order after all.
They told me there is nothing they can do to help me. I really like the company, I would like it more if shipping wasnt so high.

I placed an order for raw / unsalted almonds for our company. I ordered 25 pounds as this is an office snack for the employees.
Good alternative to candy as it keeps the calories DOWN! Anyways, placed the order and received the almonds in a big cardboard box. The almonds were just thrown into a box and sealed up. I opened the box and they were falling out everywhere.
Not only that; but, the almonds had a dark powdery substance on them which tasted like mold. I e-mailed bulkfoods.com and didn't get a response for over 2 weeks. When I followed up saying that their customer service seemed to be just as terrible as the quality of food they were selling, I got a response the next day. They said the packaging was not unsanitary and they couldn't find any traces of mold on the lot of almonds they shipped.
I paid about $130 to find out that I should never use this company again. The almonds were absolutely TERRIBLE!!! Don't buy from this place!!! They are a rip off!!!
I'm thinking about just shipping the almonds back to them and then sending a note saying "This is a gift for your family. See if they would eat them." . . .
