Ripped off!

Have NOT heard from Bucks Bags, and never to expect to! Their reputation precedes them catering to showy large concerns, but should a small business or single entity get screwed, customer kindness is simply not going to happen.

Prior to beginning this candid review, I read through 11 negative reviews for Bucks Bags. Should you be contemplating any business transaction large or small with this evident devious entity, please do yourself a favor by first reading each NEGATIVE review. Simply by being familiar with the name and the Howertons, do not be misled into thinking they are upstanding, as you too may get reeled in and caught in their shady web. As unlikely as it may presently sound, the employees of 2006 were really very decent, efficient, and personable they had Teresa, smiles and bustle! Today employees are impossible and unkind you may encounter rude Cindy with her grumpy stare and unwelcome daggers shooting over the top of her glasses. I had no other choice than to leave my bag materials, instructions, and a $30 deposit with her. My hopes of receiving the same excellent quality of bags as in 2006 was quickly diminished upon picking them up. Horribly flimsy and shoddily sewn! Although inexcusable, I did pay the balance owed. Within one week of very little use one of the bags straps tore loose! Necessary but also dreaded, I returned the bags for reinforcement expecting a simple apology and repair. Instead, daggers Cindy' blamed ME for THEIR inferior workmanship and nastily grabbed both bags leaving me stunned that she is permitted to treat clients with such insult and disrespect. When called to pick them up, it was announced there is now an additional charge!! This nightmare of abuse has gone beyond acceptable and they can keep those tainted bags. I wrote to Owner Larry Howerton 7/24/2019 explaining the entire fiasco feeling certain that he would clearly be ashamed and apologize. NEVER A WORD. NO REFUND. So having seen the name of Todd Godfrey as their general manager, he would surely be a reasonable communication source to close this small lingering matter since he was formerly a very likable person when working at a local waste water treatment plant! Nope... unexpectedly UNPROFESSIONAL.
