First, this company has a culture of little or no communication. Phone calls do not get returned.

They do not keep you informed.

My boat has been with them now for at least 2 months trying to get the captains seat fixed or replaced. This has been ongoing for over 2 years now. They are useless. I will never buy from them again.

Poor, poor customer service.

This is my 2nd boat from them. Disappointed.

I had a lower unit repair done at this place and they put used parts on and charged me New part prices.

They have done repairs on a variety of boats from the nearby area and everyone has the same opinion about the quality of workmanship. IT IS CRAP!!!

No one from our community will do business with them again.

If you need service or repairs, go somewhere else. You will save money and time when you do.

I wanted to buy an outboard for a fishing boat and wanted to buy locallly... nope, they wanted $1,500,0.00 more than the nearest competitor.

Go to Hasting Marine for best deal on Yamaha motors.

I have had my boat in for a windshield repair for a month now. Nothing has been done on repairs. After a month, they don't even have a repair estimate. Service manager is always busy and does not return phone calls.

My latest call and message this morning to Service Mgr was to have my boat ready to be picked up so I could take it somewhere else. As of 7:12 pm I have not received any call back or acknowledgement from Service Mgr.

Don't be shafted by this company....... avoid them at all cost.

These people will rip you off.

based on reviews and how staff handles themselves they are unreal- i called and simply asked for a part i needed and all i got was complete attitude rudeness and unreal tone of voice- not only was i lied to about details needed on that part on purpose but i called back just to be sure i was lied to. not sure when they forgot that sales pays there paychecks.

never will i ever go there call there or have anyone i no referred there!!! going to kinmount instead and i will pay more happily there and will continue to deal elsewhere

Hello folks this is an update to the June 24 th. posting to be fair to service at Buckeye Marine.

As reported the facts were true but Buckeye did received from bay liner complete new windshield missing import support pieces that made their job difficult to finish windshield and to also note that the communication line was and is always open to these problems with them. In closing I still would consider Buckeye as reputable marine but i certainly would keep my guard up as to detail etc.

I think the service manager tried his best to resolve the issues at hand.

Boaters beware I was told that buckeye marine bobcaygeon Ontario was a reputable repair facility by a avia(skippers plan) adjuster , Wow that isn;t true to my experience. I had a roof from a storage facility collaspe on my boat and there was top damage and my boat after 4 months in thier pocesson for repair returned to me with attennas not attached to new rails installed, holes left unrepaired,screws put in without silicon and also petruding into areas where persons sitting etc could be injured, scratches not repaired, broken glass still scattered about the boat, torn seat at rear,windshield not fastened properly and misaligned, canvas snap buttons not aligning up to windshield, and then had a new duo propeller installed and they used a grease on spindle that was leaving oil film on water around boat to cause an extra expense to have boat hauled out and check for this problem of oil accumalintg around boat thinking it was another problem.I will give buckeye credit they gave me about $600 for thier screw ups but that still left me doing everything over as i am sure there will be more hidden problems coming
