made my pre-order through the online shop only to have it cancelled 2 weeks before the release date. the only apology i received was an offer of the standard console for more money. after many e-mails complaining the offer turned to £20 off and a plug and play kit, which is still only £10 cheaper than the DAY ONE offer they had, except the standard console doesn't come with the Gold Membership (worth £40). and now its too late for me to pick one up anywhere else and i'll forever be without the DAY ONE achievement and other LTD edition parts. NOT HAPPY

BT Shop? Don't bother.

The whole idea of even going to BT was a bit of a *** thing to do from the start, if they have such a terrible customer service in the utility world why would I think the shop would be any different. The product I bought was meant to be delivered in 1-3 day (after processing), but what I did not know was that they have no stock and no idea of when the company that did stock it would have them ready for delivery. Phoned them up to be told I was not reading it wrong and that I must read the help files to find out what words like 'Processing' mean!!!!!! Yes, you can guess that made me more than angry. The product is still advertised as delivery in 1-3 day. No mention that there is no stock till Wednesday, the same as on Monday when it said stock arriving Tuesday. But none of this is told to you till you have gone through the whole payment process. I cannot believe that they (BT Shop) have no way to make sure a customer can tell if they have the product ready for dispatch, maybe with something like Amazon where they tell you how much stock they have right there BEFORE you purchase. In my opinion by far and away the most horrendous service you can receive. P.S. would have given zero stars if it was allowed.
