I have just called customer service twice and received extremely rude treatment. The representatives are not knowledgeable and make it clear THEY are doing you a favor by answering the call. There is obviously no training or supervision and this reflects poorly on...Read more
Mtd Products Lawn Mower Review
Bought this mower several months ago but have only used it 3-4 times. Now it won’t start. Practically new, plenty of oil and fuel, filter is clean, spark plug/cable fine. What makes it all the more frustrating is I owned a comparably priced and sized Murray mower that worked without fail for 12 years(!). Of course The Home Depot deflects to MTD...
They're price is good comparably you think, but not really considering the lack of members and especially that there is no indication of who is a paid member or not. You might feel rejected when no reply, not knowing the other can't reply since they aren't a paying...Read more

Over the years, I have purchased 4 sets of Warrior clubs (still have 2 sets). They are worthless as a trade-in. Added to that, they are not comparably reviewed in Golf Magazine nor Golf Digest. This suggest they are bootlegged clubs and that really concerns me. At what...Read more

Hair Cuttery - Do they really care??
I wrote Hair Cuttery a scathing email on their website. We were walk-ins for 2 very brief haircuts. The 20-minute wait was actually an hour because all the stylists were on permanent break in the back room. We got up and left after an hour, and the lazy gals in the back didn't seem to notice. The site said someone would get back to me in 3 days regarding my complaint. I'm still waiting so I guess Hair Cuttery doesn't care how many customers they lose. With this economy, there are plenty of comparably priced shops that are much more professional. Don't take any BS from people like this. They deserve to go out of business. Maybe our unmotiviated ladies would get a little more motivated after they collect their last unemployment check.
They store had a big sign in their window stating Military Discount. I went to buy some antifreeze from a shelf containing many varieties. I choose the one I wanted which was priced comparably to other auto part stores. The price was clearly marked on the shelf. There...Read more

Shop NBC digging deeper into pocket
They get worse day by day. It wasn't enough shopNBC mishandled order; sent to a 7yr old previous address, tried to make me track; until I got to corporate via manufacturer. Now they want to charge full shipping for each item ordered; I ordered a candle, sheet set, 2 identical throws and they were tacking $31.96 in shipping charges. When it was still Value Vision there was customer service, shopping carts inclusive shipping for all items. Now the greed of corporate is clear; take a little more from us average Joes. With shipping that pricey, I can go 10 days with full tank of gas, support my local merchants and let NBC ROT. The one product they offer that I cannot be without can be bought from manufacturer in Canada, so I really don't need them. The idea of home shopping is to be convenient and comparably if not, better, priced. They do not offer any such services. Lousy customer service UNLESS you get to corporate office personnel and overcharging shipping, handling. My last order took them 7 days to pack and send.
With Official Company Response
After placing an order that I thought was a "Special" as I have done so many times prior, apparently I agreed to become one of their V.I.P. representatives. This is a person who agrees to regular shipments and in return get special discounts. Well, I did not push any...Read more
Whirlpool AquaLift Technology Doesn't Work
We had the Whirlpool recommended technician from Appliance Mechanics (425-212-9076) out on 12/29 and he verified that the Aqua-Lift is working as designed (meaning what??). However that doesn't solve the problem with the promises that were made regarding how well this technology is supposed to work. It can't be cleaned with conventional cleaners and the bottom is stained from food that never came up after the cleaning and scrubbing per Whirlpool's instructions. I have sent 4 emails to Whirlpool customer service and never heard back. What we are requesting is that since that Whirlpool is promoting this as the next best thing and not performing up to our (and anyone on the internet who has this technology) expectations, we are requesting that Whirlpool replace the oven with one comparably priced that has conventional cleaning capabilities Follow-up: I finally got in touch with Whirlpool after 4 emails and posting on Facebook. It seems that they respond when you post on social media. I was requesting a replacement oven with conventional self cleaning and and after much back-and-forth I was informed that because the technician reported that the oven was functioning correctly that they could not give me a replacement. Their reason being that a continually dirty oven had nothing to do with function but was a cosmetic issue. The CS rep was "kind" enough to offer me a bottle of the Affresh cleaner. Don't fall for the AquaLift hype.

Unfair Blockbuster By Mail Charge - RARRR!
First, the selection from Blockbuster Entertainment's online "by mail" service was meager. I was less than impressed with the variety of films available through the service, but I switched from Netflix to Blockbuster in February on a trial basis, out of frustration with Netflix. I already was familiar with the general lack of choice available in a Blockbuster storefront, so I wasn't wholly surprised. What surprised me (in a bad way) was the comparably sluggish service. Once I sent in a Blockbuster title, it took about four days to get the next disc. While yes, you can go turn your disc into the store in-person, given the less than wonderful selection in the store, that's no consolation. I cancelled my trial month with Blockbuster at the month mark. I just could not find it in myself to spend the dollars on their underwhelming product. So, I sent in my final disc that I had received in the mail, signed up with Netflix again, and lived happily ever after... Nope. I didn't. I have been happy to get back to Netflix, despite the increased prices, but Blockbuster never received my final disc. So they charged me $20 for it. I didn't even like that movie. I called them and told them what happened--I sent the disc in on time, but got charged anyway. They said: (paraphrasing) "Let's wait for a couple of weeks. Call us back if you haven't received a refund on that charge by then." I called back in a couple of weeks. Same thing. Wait a couple more weeks. I called back two months after I'd been charged. Paraphrasing: "We have to wait until it's been ninety days, before you can get refunded, if the disc hasn't been received by us." Guess what? Now, they claim that I have to take that up with my bank. I lost the battle. Yeah, it's only twenty bucks. But that's twenty bucks I won't get back. I hate you, Blockbuster.
