Will not honor written contract
I was in my new home for a week, when the washer quite working. The warranty was provided for 4/24/2020 thru 4/24/2021, they stated they will not replace the washer and considered it a pre existing condition, because they stated they did not receive payment from the title company till 5/1/2020.
The contract they sent me, is clearly written with an effective and expiration date. They will do everything to get out of honoring their contracts.
When I called the office, the ladies there were very rude as well, and would not let me get a word in edgewise. They were also rude with my realtor, when she called to find out what the issue was and why they were not replacing as their contract states.

Sue Broward Factory Service
Scheduled a/c repair. Tech shows up and states he will not do the repair as it is too difficult for one person.
He calls office, then states there would be a $695.00 charge to do the "normal covered repair", he was hostile and belligerent. Office staff, knowing a/c is out of freon, states, "have a wonderful day". Manager Steve Ferguson is rude, argumentative, and states do you want a refund of the policy? (Have policy 3-4 years with minimal repairs) Regional Manager, Larry Herd states the owner is my brother.
Sarah (Herd) who responds to online complaints states she would inform the owner/president and have response in morning: no response. Sarah then states the VP has the info and will respond in the morning: no response. Broward Factory Service is d/b/a for Herd Enterprises Inc.
If you experience similar treatment, please file a complaint, class action lawsuit. DO NOT accept a refund, force Broward Factory Service to honor the Home Warranty contract you paid for.

Upsell instead of honoring contract
Broward's manager finally agreed to honor the plumber's original statement that the faucet would be installed at no charge, A plumber and his assistant arrived on Monday, 4/15 and installed the faucet as per the original commitment to me. Thank you PissedConsumer.com
I called regarding a dripping bathroom sink faucet. Plumber came and said that he could not fix it and if I bought a faucet he would install it as part of the visit.
I purchased a replacement faucet from Home Depot, called Broward and they said it would cost me $125 to install it.
Contract says no charge. They refused to honor what the plumber told me and will not install the faucet at no charge
I will have a local handyman install it for $15

These people at Broward never return your calls and will not honor your contract. They are all rude and crude Crooks!
The best thing to do is sue them because they will ignore your complaints and lie their way out of the claim!! This company is a joke and should not be in business.
They know how to dupe people out of their warranty! BEWARE!!

A complete No SHOW
After being a long-time customer, I called them about a simple dryer heating element repair - even gave them the model number for reference. Tech showed - he knew nothing about nothing.
Ended up waiting 1 1/2 weeks for a technician who NEVER showed despite me waiting for over 6 hours. Office kept promising he'd show up - right up to their 5 pm closing time. A complete no show.
Worthless. I deserve, in fact, everyone deserves better treatment . This will be my last year with Broward Factory Service - they screwed me on my Air Conditioning replacement
policy - actually wanting to charge me MORE than I ended up paying to have it replace by an outside company. Total scam artists.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
This company should NOT be allowed to stay in business as they are evil Crooks! I truly hope they get sued and loose their license because of all the fraud they inflict on consumers!!

Had this *** twice now he's just really rude has a bad attitude. Condescending. Not sure why this *** treats people this way. Last time I complained and they sent the same *** tech again.
I can't stand mean people who are just negative and rude. This *** is mindless pathetic and seems to dislike good looking women and has to put them down. Why aren't there more normal people working at these places and not angry bitter misogynistic white trash losers.

Called BFs to fix something. The technician was this dumb fat white guy with brown hair. He was so rude. Didn't even say hi to me. And was a ***. They need to stop hiring trashy people then I asked the *** to check something else and he got on the phone and tried accusing me of not wanting to pay a plumber when he looked at my ice maker. Huh?! Total *** psycho piece of ***. He needs to rot and is a piece of *** *** loser
