I would give them negative stars if I could. DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE WITH THEM, ANYWHERE!!!

We have never been treated so poorly. My mom pays almost $7,000 a month and goes to bed hungry every night because the quality of the food is so poor. They threw away all of her belonging and incontinent supplies we had in storage on the premises. Most concerning is they gave her 2 unauthorized doses of narcotic pain medication!

They increased her bill by $1,000 less than 2 weeks after complaining to corporate about the food. I have filed 15 complaints with the AZ Department of Health and an abuse report with the Adult Protection Agency. I can't get her out of there fast enough. It's ALL about the money.

They will tell you one price moving in and then slowly start adding more charges.

Makes me sick!! Worst place ever!

Nothing was done Im leaving my full time position and goingPRN no issues was resolved I even talked to the district manager nothing was done .I gave him more complaints about the building including drug activity on the job I was told that it will be under investigation and he will keep in touch with me I never heard nothing else from him

MY MOTHER DIED AT BROOKALE NORTH IN RALEIGH NC ON AUGUST 3 AND WE HAD TO PAY FOR THE WHOLE MONTH OF AUGUST, NO PRO-RATED BILLING. WE TURNED IN THE KEYS 5 DAYS BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH.

I GOT THE FINAL BILL AND THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR 2 DAYS BECAUSE I DIDN'T GIVE 30 DAY NOTICE THAT SHE WAS GOING TO DIE.

HOW HEARTLESS CAN A COMPANY BE?

I CONTACTED A DOZEN PEOPLE AT THE CORPORATION AND HAVE FILED AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT WITH THE COMPANY. NOW I'M FILING COMPLAINTS WITH OUTSIDE CONSUMER GROUPS.

My mother stayed at Brookdale and the employees are very caring a nice. They helped her in a very caring way until her passing. I was very lucky to find a company that is this caring for her.

I work in Santa Fe, NM. You have two ladies who work there who are very unprofessional.

Their names are Pam and Loren.

Ive been treated very badly, maybe its because of my age and my Ethnic background . I hear them saying things like all shes good for is cleaning.

It's a horrible place to work , always short handed ,was told pray for help. Got covied because they didn't have correct ppe.

Tried to call in cause of flat tire ,tried to get help so I could possibly come in to work acted like they didn't want to help me had already put in my 2 weeks cause of the way the handle things there worked by myself several times by my self with 32 residents they paid me less than the new people that came in even though without me and one other the place would have been closed down . And , they told me all the time they didn't know what they would do without me. Had to clean dining room by myself most the time would tell them what was going on and they would just say thank you , never try to fix the problem . Laundry wouldn't get sent to loundry wouldn't get done most the time if I didn't send it .

They wouldn't get residents in the shower very often so much people kept on getting bed bugs tried to give showers to everyone I could but I'm only one person so when they acted like they couldn't give me ride I just went head said you know what since my two weeks ends in two days I'll just let end now. Tried to get them to help with pay stubs they gave e wrong number

This company is the most racist and prejudice home health care I have ever worked for. They currently practice discrimination against pregnant women and women who just had a baby and are breastfeeding.

They will follow you into the bathroom on your breaks stalking you to see what you are doing and how long you're taking your break. The managers don't even know what they are doing. Kristy Boyoll should have her license revoked. She doesn't know what she is doing.

She doesn't know the difference between sterile surgical technique and aseptic technique (clean technique) and she doesn't know how to pair up the right orientees with the person they should be shadowing with. She will purposefully put an orientee with a nurse who is "too overwhelmed" to allow the orientee to shadow her. Instead of orienting you they set you up to plan to terminate you. The DON Susan Johnson Richardson has no class or etiquette and actually believes its her right to eat the young nurses especially if they have children that are still very small or in diapers and if you happen to be a nurse who is also still in school maybe because she didn't further her education as a nurse and it bothers her.

They will not even allow you to look at you phone on your own break time and they are prejudice against natural Afro textured hair. They won't come right out and say it but they would rather you either perm your hair or cover it up with a weave because if you wear natural twists or locks they will send staff members like Laura Oddo to pull you ponytail or hair. The other black ladies that work for their company either have weaves or they perm their hair. They practice COLORISM, RACISM and discrimination against pregnant women and women who recently had a baby.

I will not stop until this particular branch is shutdown.

Please do not support this business especially this Farmington Hills location. If you are a person of color with twists or natural locks/Afro textured hair, please think twice before working for this company because they are very evil and racist and still practice slavery mentality in their corporation.

Emeritus has been changed to a different name called Brookdale as a cover up to avoid getting into trouble with the Law.

It's legal, but they had a lot of history of Abuse, Negligence, Ripping people off, unhealthy Nutrient foods, Employees acting rude to other Co-workers, and Directors being Terminated for corruption and more.

I used to work there when it was called Emeritus. I would actually choose an ALF such as Five Star better than this place for your loves ones.

There was one location at Beckett Lake in Clearwater Florida back in 2006 where a man with Alzheimer's drowned when no one was on guard of just how bad it was.

This place is just not worth your currency on this Brookdale (Formerly Emeritus) Thank You
