750 dollar barbq which is crap

i sent an email to them yesterday using the email sent by you and so far no response from broil king, My barbq is the signet 90 which i got for 700 on sale at reno depot in longueuil area. It replaced a Centro barbq which i got at Canadiantire in 2005 which was half priced for 300 dollars, it never rusted after using it 13 years and cooked evenly. Iloved the Centro and seeing the signet 90 i thought it would do the job but from the beginning it never cooked evenly and after 2yrs even though i oiled the grills they are completely useless now.

signet 3 burner does not cook evenly and even though you oil the grills they rusted after 2 years, Not worth the money and headache. For that much money i would of thought it would barbq better so i am very disappointed.

Purchased our Broil King for Fathers Day last year. Very happy with our Broil king. So happy I am about to order three more for our boys as housewarming gifts. We BBQ more often then we did before!

Poor customer care

I called and waited over 2 1/2 hours before we got an answer on the phone. My father who is 83 purchased a BBQ Broil King 970-94 Imperial 790. There are items that should not fall apart such as the stainless steel burner which in now a fire hazard and the cast iron Flav-R-Cast.is completely gone. As well the name plate and heat indicator has melted which might mean it was defective to start with. And of course the heavy cast iron cooking grids are falling apart. They have refused to help and I find it very disappointing that a company with such a great name such as Broil King would rather not help and have a customer that has supported the brand for such a long time. Very unhappy with the service Would not recommend Broil King after this poor service

Unable to contact broil king

Needed website information to apply for offer they had. Had called all the numbers and 1-800 number but no one could help. Called head office in Waterloo-Onward Manufacturing, although very pleasant and offered a phone number, still could not get information. Assuming it was because of short staffed-covid 19. Understandable. I did not realize I was in Pissed Consumer, assumed it was part of Broil King. Because it showed up on a Broil King website. However not sure if it was Pissed Consumer or Broil King website which responded. Problem solved in 24 hours. I am happy.

needed the website or information on how to get the free utensils with the bbq. More likely due to covid19, phone and email took a very long time to reply. Offer was expiring and needed the information. Looking back the seller of the bbq should have supplied the information not broil king. Broil King solved the problem, only gave 3 stars for customer service because no one seemed to know about the offer and the website showed nothing on the offer. Problem did get resolved by Broil King, not the retailer.

Purchased broil king as parts could be ordered if needed . Other brands don’t offer replacement parts.Every time there’s a puff of wind the flames go out and has to be re ignited so is a real pain. Have installed screens on openings to try to prevent from happening but will still occur limiting times to bbq ! Is there another solution to solve this problem ? It’s a Monarch grill entering second season, fuel is propane. Thank you.

Have a bbq that is 3 years old with some problems

sent an e-mail with a list of items wrong and no reply. Given the corona problems right now I can give them time, but it is hard at this time to get replacement parts.

I bought this grill thinking this was the best.well i was wrong. I have not had this grill quite 2years yet and i have replaced grill grates,flavorgrates, and supports at a cost of170 dollars on top of purchase price dont buy this grill ITS JUNK....
