Purchased tickets from broadway tour for the lion king in st. Louis.
Tickets were to arrive by april 18, i contacted Broadway Tour on the eve of the 19th and was informed i did not purchase tickets from them, even though they took my credit card information. They said they could do nothing for me except to give me a phone number to the "seller".
I then did try to call the number, in which a woman answered and said the box office is closed. In that very second i realized i not only was most likely scammed and that i had just threw away an entire weeks pay, but i would have to explain to my niece why we are not going to get to see the lion king for her birthday!,
Got tickets as ordered but . . .
I placed an order for tickets to Wicked in New Orleans from wickedtour.net. I got apprehensive as soon as I did it cause they were much less than face value but it worked.
I just got back from the show and my wife was pleased. The seats were exactly where they said they were and so far I was charged exactly what they said I would be charged. Apparently someone did not need their tickets and I lucked up and got them. Not sure why I need to type one hundred words because I have said all I want to say but here we are at ninety five words and it feels like a class essay - but at least I won't need to redo it.
Oh, p.s.
I did not sign up for the greatfun website. That seemed like a racket.
Avoid BroadwayTour.net Purchased Tickets from BroadwayTour.net for The Little Mermaid Houston
Avoid this company. They do not deliver what they say they do. We purchased tickets through BroadwayTour.net. We were given the option to purchase a zone - Zone A for $23 per ticket plus their service fee and shipping. The two tickets cost us $72.50 and the next day a person called from the company stating they could not sell and would not sell the tickets because these tickets were $200 each. They said they would credit our credit card.
We called them again on another night for the same event and the same Zone A tickets were available. The person on the phone claimed to be a manager and told us that they would sell the tickets at that price to us. So, we expected a credit for the other set and a new charge for tickets.
Next day, we get an email saying there is an issue. Upon calling, they will not be selling us the tickets. Management refuses to speak to us and we are not sure if they will issue a credit for the charge.
This company seems to be a true company when you look at their site but when you purchase the tickets, they do not follow through selling them. Do not waste your time and/or money on them.
Broadway Tour Scam
I purchased Jersey Boys tickets from the website Broadway Tour (http://broadwaytour.net/) on January 18, 2013. I spent $218.82.
They sent me an email telling me my purchase had been processed and would be fulfilled through a third party, Big Bob's Tickets. They told me my tickets would not be available until May 23, 2013, which I thought was odd since the theater had released and sold tickets in January.
I attempted to contact Big Bob, but got no response. I contacted Broadway Tours repeatedly, but they assured me it wasn't a scam and the tickets would be delivered. I finally got an email from Big Bob's telling me the tickets would be delivered on May 23, 2013 and not to worry.
Of course, May 23 came and went, and I haven't received the tickets.
The two companies work together to scam the public, I believe. Both companies just point the finger at each other.
BEWARE: BroadwayTour.net is a scam!

We are sorry you had a negative experience on our site. First, let me assure you that your credit card was credited back for both orders as soon as it was determined that the tickets were mispriced in our system.
Please check your online statement for this credit. It can take 3 to 5 business days to appear.
I've been researching the matter this morning to clarify what happened. Per the support tickets on these orders, it seems we had a set of tickets mispriced online that you purchased. We called to inform you of our error and offer you replacement tickets which you declined.
Due to the winter storms, our systems were offline for over a day so unfortunately we were unable to login to fix the pricing error. I'm showing you placed a second order for the same set of mispriced tickets again the following day which was also declined for the previously stated reason.
Unfortunately, the weather problems are outside of our control. I wish we could have gotten into our system immediately after your first order and corrected the issue, but it just wasn't possible. Regardless, it was our mistake, and we'd like to make it right.
We'll give you a $50 credit on your next order with us. Please check your email by the end of business today for this offer code that you can use online.
Again, I'm sorry for the confusion and inconvenience this has caused.
