No refund
It doesn't make any sense that you can not get a refund or at least change your tickets for another day. I had two tickets (not cheap) for the lion king, I couldn't go on my trip to NY because of a family emergency, and so I ended up losing my tickets. Very disappointing experience, I don't think I'll every buy tickets to a broadway show again until they make it refundable.

I accidentally purchased tickets to an evening show, rather than matinee, which would be very difficult with living 3 hours away. With all the disclaimers on the site warning that tickets cannot be exchanged, I was so sad, but I thought i would at least ask and wrote to customer service.
Within 24 hours, I received new tickets to the matinee in very similar seats!!! It was SUCH a wonderful surprise and SUCH a relief!
