This is the latest email that I have sent to BCAA insurers (Global Excel) regarding claim 235**** on my BCAA Travel Insurance policy number TIA121****. Payment of this claim was approved on April 9th, 2024, but I have still not received it.

Really?

You guys are totally unbelievable!

Still no direct deposit after more than another week, not one or two business days as you keep saying.

Have any new excuses?

Maybe you should actually talk to someone in your accounts payable.

You initially approved the payment on April 9th.

In my experience, I have never seen a company so dysfunctional.

Let's get this done! Now!

I would recommend that anyone seeking travel insurance consider alternatives to BCAA.

RECORD EVERY DEALING YOU HAVE WITH BCAA!!!

My overheated, smoke spewing, "dead!" 2002 FORD Explorer, was towed to the above shop in Kelowna. I thought, that's it!

Time for a new truck! But no!, "it's an easy fix, all you need is a hose and a clamp"; sent on my way, with my son driving (479 dollars later), only to have said vehicle BLOW up, engulfing my son and I in thick white smoke, after we got the vehicle to speed, after we hit the connector. Abandoned by this shop, and BCAA for 6 hours on the side of the road. After a six month investigation, the "bcaa resolution," auto manager, has now, after a lengthy holiday, told me...to blow sparks!

I'm a liar, I"m guilty of owning an old truck. No inspection notes, no parts to show me, no initiated contact, denied any information regarding the case.... Hmmmmmm.....

I"m not a mechanic, but, no test drive was done with the vehicle, they didn't heat the vehicle after repair, they didn't do the tire pressure, which was asked for ....no warning about any potential diagnostic issues ie.

you have an old truck....this might happen...or it could be this...or it might be that-.I was also told by said auto care manager Mr. Smythe, in our initial coversation, "If you get a lawyer, I can't help you!" No, you can't , and you didn't.

20 plus year platinum plus member, car and home insurance....gone.

My doctor has called it a "near death experience," and that the blinding fury, the insomnia, the inability to work or focus on many days since July 15th, 2019, is all part of PTSD ....PTSD!!!!!

BCAA Auto Approved Car Care Centre=Near Death Experience.

If you are a lawyer and are reading this....I don't care about me, they almost killed my son.....
