SCAM ALERT!!! This company does not even deserve 1 star.
The product on the website and sample I looked at was nothing like the decking I received!!. Cheap plastic decking was delivered (very late I may add) - nothing like the sample at all and still cannot get an explanation as to what went wrong and why the sample and picture on the website is not what they deliver!! Fake advertising. Once they have your money, you can forget any customer service.
Our "fake" product arrived after two missed deliveries. Was covered in bird *** unwrapped, broken, scratched dented and filthy filthy dirty. My contractor refused to touch the decking despite the fact it was not what we ordered!! We eventually got the decking removed off our driveway and taken away.
I am now not allowed to contact anyone in the Australia office - they don't take my calls, and I get generic emails stating I must contact the founder in Columbia - only communication is by whatsapp, he is full of false promises, its a month that has gone by, they still have my money, I have no product to show for it... and still I await a resolution/feedback. The most disgusting customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I would stay well clear of this company and their false promises and offerings.
Oh and did I mention - two different products were delivered!! Not even one delivery of the same colour.

Just like all bad reviews I read about Brite Decking, this one is about not caring about their customers, warranties, and the overall poor quality of the product. I have a warranty issue which I reported 15/03/2022 and the first couple of months after reporting it, I was being ignored.
Just ignored. No debate, no nothing, just ignored. I got told that the founder of the company was in Columbia, and he needed to deal with this. I guess the whole warranty process falls apart if 1 guy goes to Columbia and apparently emails dont work there either?
As I have seen on different review platforms this seems to be the way they avoid honouring warranties.
They try to drain you until you give up. But I did not give up and finally after 4 months of ridiculous excuses, somebody finally came round and admitted the product is faulty, but the solution offered would still leave me at least $10,000 out of pocket myself to rectify all the issues and I would need to dispose of the faulty boards myself.
They advertise on FB as a true-blue Australian company with long warranties. And mentioned that several times in the quoting process claiming they were manufacturer and supplier. So, I did the right thing and bought products from them late 2018 & again in 2021.
Very responsive and attentive during those sales processes. Could not fault them. But of course, that is at the stage where I am spending money with them (Over $14,000 in total).
Turned out they did not manufacture themselves and started shifting blame on their supplier. Which is amazing since I have emails from them in 2018 claiming they manufactured the product themselves.
The whole idea about composite boards is that they are low maintenance and will last for years, what a joke if you get them from Brite Decking.
I have lodged with NSW NCAT & NSW Fair Trading as have done many other people.
The more of us that put a complaint in, the better.
So, this company gets stopped before they do even more damage. It might even be a good idea to get A Current Affair involved.

I purchased (composite) decking boards from Brite Decking in November 2018 & within 10 weeks of having it built it started to fade in various places (it is undercover) water leaves very visible stains, and using a hose brings out a soapy foam. Having paid twice what timber decking costs I expected not to have any of these problems as I was promised by the Brite Decking sales team.

Their product is absolute rubbish.

I had problems with Brite Decking. Had 2 pay to havve original Brite Decking removed and installed.
Was given a personal guarantee from Steve that I cwould be completely satisfied with the 2nd lot of decking boards and installation. After about 6 weeks, the boards started lifting, buckling and fading. Despite many phone calls to Steve and promised visits, I finally advised him I was going to Fair Trading. I was awarded compensation for the cost of boards and installation about $36,000.
Steven sent me a cheque for $500 and said I would not get any more. I went to court and got a judgement signed and sent to his bank and them money was deducted from his account and credited to mine.
Would never use them again. Customer Service- rating NIL Product rating - NIL
