Charged for data plan that was not ordered

Ordered a data plan for one month but was charged for three months. Was never told I would be charged for three months. User support is hard to contact (on hold forever) unhelpful when reached and make promises to check issue and get back to me but never do. Overcharge was for almost $200.00. They don't give out all the details over the phone on initial ordering and are now saying I was sent documentation telling me that the plan was for 90 days. I never received any such documentation and was not given this information on initial order. Make sure you check plan and make sure you understand all the charges first before you give them a credit card number. Best plan is to go to another provider.

Brightroam SIM card/cell service sucks

I ordered two Italian SIM cards for a two week vacation in April 2013. Service while on vacation was fine. Now, I am getting monthly bills for about $30 on my Visa for incoming calls to these Italian numbers even though we are home and not using the phones. When I called to complain, the customer "service" person was unhelpful and told me that I had ordered service for a year. When I ordered the cards, I was told that they are good for a year, but not that I would be billed monthly for a year. I cancelled the service. Today another charge was put through on my credit card. Do not use their service - they are unclear with their service offering and completely unhelpful when you call them.

I have exactly the same experience in February 2014. Obviously their billing service is fraudulent and they ignore requests for deactivation.

Paid them off one time---supposedly for the 'last time' but now will need to proceed legally. Do not use Bright Roam.....bunch of thugs...

Brightroam used to be a decent little company up until a year or so ago. Now they are sneaking in extra charges, funny billing methods, overcharging, hidden fees, charging "deposit" fees for services(?), and the customer service is horrible.

I have been rude to and condescended to more than once and when I pointed it out to the person that they needed to check their tone with me they got more inside.

I had been doing business with them for years, but no longer.
