It wants control of my acct thru mobile banking. I don’t use mobile banking because I got scammed in it before, the same way they wanted it. They only need my acct number if they provide a loan.

AI Highlights
  • Privacy and legitimacy concerns about bank details and Plaid access.
  • Credit score fell after my husband's death, rising from 333 to 511.

First of all a legit company doesnt use mobile banking. The only want bank acct number really they shouldnt have that unless they approve a loan.

Lose my protection at bank when I supply my info to them. It appears like its only scam company ask for things like that. If there getting their payments as loan paper read, they have no bussiness in my acct. They also wanted me to use plaid company.

Just how many people get my info doing that, dont trust their way of the system. They dont belong in my acct thru mobile, its my bussiness that acct not theirs. If theyre getting their payments there is no reason why they are getting into my acct. I have had 100s of loan no one that is a true financial bussiness ever has asked for anything like that.

It makes big red lights go off due to the way they function. When I asked the rep if he allows others in his acct, his answer was no. Told him to ask the ceo if he has others in his acct. sure the answer is no.

Run my credit score than decide if you will help or not, end of story. For me if its not acceptable for their accts be violated that way, then you shouldnt be using others acct that way either. My score dropped when my husband died & I didnt make enough to cover all bills. That is what happened.

Been with my bank over 30 years, with a average of 2 loans a year, never have I not paid them back. That should represent me as a person to trust. People cases need to be judge individually not in a lump sum & compared to other profile. I am looking for a loan to get some furniture.

I am 67 & disabled. Getting up & down off the floor really sucks! Its something I need & is a emergency thing for me. Someplace will help me without invading my privacy as this company wants.

As of today my score with Trans union has went from 333 to511. That is growth that should say things about me. My aydvice is change your ways in a respectful manner. They have no bussiness in my acct.

my bank says never give anyone what they need if it ts information they shouldnt have, nor should they be asking for it. For me its past ridiculous!

There is only two legitimate reasons for them to request an account number. One, upon a credit check, issues showed up with bank accounts you have had/have now. Two, they are offering a discount of 1/4 to 1/2% for auto-pay and need to verify an account in good standing.

I called the company and received my $39 today. To be fair, they were very apologetic, and for whatever reason, this has been happening to many of their customers, so they've been innundated with calls. So all's well that ends well.

Original review Aug 23, 2025
I downloaded the app by accident and NEVER used any of their services. Yet, three days ago, August 22, 2025, I was charged $39 - a direct payment which means an account was created in my name and I KNOW that was never the case.

I just filed a dispute with my bank and sent them the URL to the litany of complaints filed by so many others for the EXACT same reason.

BBB has had so many of these complaints that they've set up a special link explaining what these charges are for and why folks are finding their funds withdrawn when they check their balances. I won't have any of the nonsense, and neither should you.
