Request for Full Replacement of Defective Bridgestone WeatherPeak Tires
- WeatherPeak 235/40R19 shows abnormal center-tread wear.
- Request full replacement under warranty or goodwill; issue is quality-related.
I haven't received a single response from Bridgestone.
I respectfully cannot accept this solution, as the issue is clearly a manufacturing or compound-related quality defect, not related to my vehicle, driving habits, or maintenance.
Despite regular wheel alignments, proper tire inflation, and no suspension or mechanical issues, the front tires are exhibiting abnormal, premature center-tread wear. Additionally, I have become aware that Bridgestone has issued recalls on WeatherPeak tires for certain quality concerns, which further reinforces that this is not a usage-related problem.
I have attached photographs demonstrating the wear pattern and condition of the tires.
Given these circumstances, I kindly request that Bridgestone review the matter as a quality issue and approve a full replacement under goodwill or warranty, without any cost to me.
I have always trusted Bridgestone for its reputation for safety, durability, and engineering excellence, and I sincerely hope this matter can be resolved in a way that reflects that commitment to customers.
Thank you very much for your attention and support. I look forward to your prompt response.
Warm regards,

Verified ReviewerDefective Tires on Mercedes-Benz C300 ****
- Four tires on a 2024 Mercedes-Benz C300 bubbled; one burst.
- Warranty rep with 20 years says it's a defect.
- They want payment and to inspect tires.
Im extremely disappointed with Bridgestone Canadas tires and customer service. All four tires on my 2024 Mercedes-Benz C300 developed bubbles, and one burst while driving, posing a serious safety risk.
After a lengthy discussion with their warranty specialist, who claimed 20 years of experience, he admitted that the majority of customers report the same issue, stating its a manufacturing defect, not from hitting a curb or an accident. I told him if so many people are experiencing this, its clearly a manufacturing flaw on Bridgestone Canadas end. Yet, they still insisted I pay for replacement tires upfront and send the defective ones for inspection to process a warranty claim, claiming this protects tens of millions of users worldwide.
Im appalled that a premium brand like Bridgestone Canada expects customers to cover the cost and inconvenience of their quality control failures. Im still waiting for a proper resolution and will reconsider choosing Bridgestone in the future.
